I'm trying to construct my own qualification table for the european cups for the year 2005/2006 and I need information about each FA's rules for qualifying teams (e.g. two English teams go to the UEFA CUP from the FA Cup and the League Cup, similar in France). But what about other FA's.Are the rules the same as last year. Thanks for any help)

There's just league cup in france and england (well there is one in germany too, but doesn't count for uefa-cup spot), for all the other countries it's going the normal way, league winner to cl (in some leagues more) and runners up going to uefa-cup, as well as cup winners
3 exceptions: san marino and andorra just send the champions to uefa-cup (so don't have a team in cl)
liechtenstein just sends cup winner to uefa-cup (no cl team either, cause no league of their own, it's teams are embedded in switzerland and austria)

There are actually league-cups in Ireland, Iceland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Russia and Wales as well, but as Lunaris say, just League cup-winners from England and France participate in UC. But---not the League cup final loser if League cup winner is qualified for european cups from other tournaments (league, FA cup)

In Russia there is no league cup competition. It was held once but then this idea was rejected (I don't know, forever or for a while).

Cup final in Russia last year Terek-Krylyva. But they had another cup last year where Zenith beat Chernomorets 3-0 and 2-2 in final. Maybe just an 'unofficial' winter cup?

League Cup in England is not treated as it should be. Most big clubs use their second squad and with only 1-2 excemptions in last 6 years small size teams won the competition and qualify to Europe taking the place of the team finishing 6th in Premier League. It is ironing a team finishing 6th in Greece to qualify in Europe but the team finihing 6th in England not to do so. And the league cup representatives usually fail dramatically being disqualified from the first round of UEFA Cup against unseeded opponents eg Blackburn,Manchester City,Milwall,Aston Villa,West Ham,Leicester and so on last 5 years.

Sorry for bringing the topic once again )

Is there a place (site) where I can find full info on rules of qualifying from each FA eg:

Latvia: 1CL 1UC - league 1UC - cup
Poland: 1CL 2UC - league 1UC - cup

and so on
I'm really interested in which leagues the cup winner goes to the UEFA and in whichc there is no cup or the cup's winner doesn't go to the UC (Czech Republic)

Thanks for any help )

In the regulation on Bert's main page a link is given to the 'Regulations of the Champions League 2004/2005'. I assume next year will be the same as this year, but in there on page 39(of 86) you can find the list of all participants in the two tournaments.

All Cupwinners, also Czech's, normally enters the UefaCup. But if the winner qualifies for ChampionsLeague(CL), the CupLooser can go. And if even the CupLooser qualifies for CL, than the next of the league can go.
This last heppened last year in Czech(and in Greece)
