Taking country ranking in own hands

Ofcourse it's always in your own hands if you win or loose, but if you play a direct opponent, the win (or loss) counts double!. Holland seems to be in a position in the next 4/5 matchdays to play against direct opponents:
Next week Feyenoord-Hearts
Other matches:
Club Brugge-FC Utrecht(UC-3)
AZ-Alkmaar - Glasgow Rangers(UC-4)
Heerenveen - Beveren(UC-5)
Panathinaikos - PSV (CL-6).
Unfortunately the Dutch team will win only halve of these games.

"Unfortunately the Dutch team will win only halve of these games."

I think Dutch teams will win 4 out of 5, I think only Utrecht will lose against Brugge.

Feyenoord and Heerenveen normally win against Hearts and Beveren. AZ has a great team and are favourite (to me) against a Rangers team which lost quality players last few years. Rangers play "Snelwegvoetbal = Highwayfootball" and AZ should play their own game at a lower speed. I saw PSV-Panathinaikos and I haven't seen a team in CL lately which was a bad as Panathinaikos. I believe they only had 1 shot on target. So I think Dutch clubs will get some good results against their main rivals.

I agree with krdeluxe when it comes to Panathinaikos. Maybe early in season for them, but in their first match at home vs a not tip-top Rosenborg they should have lost with two-three goals. No, not my words. Wenger and Henry said that it was 'highway robbery' and 'just one of those days'. But still time to find the form for Pana. Match against PSV 7.12. And I hope Alkmaar will win against Rangers. 50-50?

So I think Club Brügge may be the only team you will lose to. Good chances in other matches.

Never estimate Panathinaikos. Last year they did their worst performances in champions league groups ever, but still won 3-1 against Rangers in Scotland and finished 3rd.
On the other hand Olympiakos begun with dreams but they became nightmares. Never forget Juventus-Olympiakos 7-0.(seven-zero)
Moreover Panathinaikos has a decent history in champions league. Finalist in 1972,semi-finals in 1996. And they NEVER finished 4th in the group stage.
