| What will happen in a case like that: Maccabi tel aviv will win it's 2 first games in UCQR1 and gain 0.5 points for Israel (2/4 teams), but than Maccabi haifa will win the intertoto and will play in UCQR2 - than Israel will have 5 teams. Will the 2/4 become 2/5, or will they count Israel as 5 teams only from the point that Haifa qualfiled? |

| 5 teams - well, Intertoto isn't counted for some reason |

| UEFA computes the country ranking only at the end of the season, taken into account all teams that participated. So in the example above Israel would get 2/5=0.4 points. |

| we have the same situation every begin of season, if you see berts Country-Ranking. The big nations happen to have less points tomorrow than today, just because of the teams coming from intertoto joining the fild. But as it was said, "our" ranking is very precise, but not "official". UEFA only considers ranking at the end of each season, and bye the way, only publishes it at that moment..... |

| Is it possible that Uefa will change the rules of the ranking during the season? |

| For Uefa there is no 'during season' THere is only a ranking at the end of the season. And if the rules change for calculating that it still can be done during this season, yes. I think the country percantage 50%->33% was done midseason and it counted already for the teamranking of next year... Countryranking 07, to decide number of participants for 08/09 are already final, I assume |

| Yes - I suppose if UEFA were going to change the ranking for some reason 2009-10 (when the formats are changing) would be the most sensible time to do it.
And changes would have to be introduced partway through next season to affect the 2009-10 access lists. |
