It's our turn tomorrow. We both kick off at the same time.
That's why we need to talk this talk now. I'll be more quiet if we lose 0-4 ourselves tomorrow. :grin1:

Re: UEFA Women's Euro Switzerland 🇨🇭 2025

Oh that's abiT unfair leaving 🇫🇮 🇳🇴 out! When will bids open? Why? Because they invested in the bid last time around and a 4 nation bid has happened before. So it's unfair to attempt to improve your chances to succeed after a failed bid? Unless they made an agreement to apply once more as the same ...

Re: 2023 Asian Cup - Qatar

HT: Australia 1-0 Uzbekistan, Syria 0-0 India Boyle converted a penalty awarded for handball after a VAR review. Another reminder why I hate the handball rules. The Uzbek player slides down to block the advancing Australian player, who moves in behind the Uzbek player. The ball hits the arm that is...

Re: These nations could debut at the 2026 World Cup

Here are 27 nations and how I rate their chances to debut at the 2026 World Cup. A lot of research has been done. A lot of footage has been checked out. Teams I didn't list won't stand a chance to qualify in my humble view. Tier I - hopeful to qualify 🇺🇿 Uzbekistan 🇧🇭 Bahrain 🇻🇳 Vietnam 🇯🇴 Jordan 🇧...

Re: 2023 Women's World Cup

They don't play football in the Germany - Korea injury time. Korea is taking the term injury time very literally as they are constantly on the ground requiring medical attention.

Re: 2026 World Cup

So if they'd drawn the other lot Canada out? Yes, South Korea were eliminated as the 3rd place finisher. The tournament consisted of 12 teams in 4 groups with Colombia, Peru and South Korea as invited teams. How come thirds didn't qualify then? 4 groups, 3 teams in each. Top 2 finishers from each g...

Re: 2026 World Cup

If there is a tie on that FIFA get their balls out and draw lots to decide who goes through, has that ever happened before I wonder? Gold Cup 2000, group D Costa Rica - Canada 2-2 Canada - South Korea 0-0 South Korea - Costa Rica 2-2 Costa Rica group winner on more goals scored. Canada and South Ko...

🏆 The composition of the baskets for the draw for the CAFA Nations Cup 2023 tournament: Pot 1️⃣: 🇮🇷 Iran, 🇺🇿 Uzbekistan (host of the group). Pot 2️⃣: 🇰🇬 Kyrgyzstan (host of the group), 🇹🇯 TAJIKISTAN. Re: UEFA Euro 2024

Oh. Denmark not making it at all is bold. We'll see. I just feel the group as a whole isn't strong enough. Denmark's poor showing at the World Cup had to do with a rift inside the squad. That rift came as a consequence of some players wanting to boycott the Qatar World Cup while others wanted still...

I know that you're deep into discussing details, but here are my thoughts about the greater picture: I also have several problems with the qualifying campaigns. First of all, I don't like that the entire qualifying process for a tournament played every four years is completed is little over two mont...

Re: 2022 WC Qatar - final tournament

The Danish Superliga has 7 players at the World Cup. Apart from Polish 3rd choice keeper Kamil Grabara, the six other players all come from group D. 2 from Denmark (Wass, Cornelius), 2 from Australia (Ryan, King) and 2 from Tunisia (Ben Slimane, Jebali).
