Good to see you back :!: Great job as always :!: Some day maybe Rayo will make the European ranking. Don't forget, they beat Celta (in Vallecas) who beat Barsa in the Camp Nou, and they also beat Malaga in Vallecas; Malaga also beat Barsa in the Camp Nou.
Team that beat Rayo should also enter in the ranking at a higher place.
and the team beating the team who beat Rayo also...

It's a really weird anomaly that Leverkusen looks likely to end up higher in this table than in any of the competitions they actually played in... I mean, them beating Bayern means they'll almost certainly end up ahead of Atlético and Juventus. Bayern or Real might still catch them, but it'll take at least 2 wins in the last 3 CL matches. I'd expect Leverkusen to end up 3rd here.

Atlético is a similar case, though at least Barca is ahead of them and Real will probably get there, so the inner-Spanish-ranking kind of fits. Unless Bayern wins CL, Leverkusen will probably be the best German team, slightly ahead of Bayern and way ahead of Wolfsburg and Mönchengladbach.

I agree that it can look weird. This said, let's acknowledge that Leverkusen did pretty well in the big games this season (although I suspect that Bayern have not done everything to win the last game).

Lyonnais:

Great job with Barça writeup.

Just one correction--you have Xavi and Ini down as winners of CL in 2012 instead of 2015. Wish we had won in 2012 . . .

oops. Thanks Alan for the correction.

The number of titles won by these players is just unbelievable.
It was more or less expected for the Spaniards as we all know the success of the Roja in recent years but the other players are not bad too (Mascherano, 2 olympic champion, champion in Argentina and Brazil; Daniel Alves, 2 Conf Cups, 2 UEFA Cups, etc....). Amazing

Among these top 10 teams,

the youngest one is Porto, 24.8 years in average, which is a very low average. Given their performances this season, there should be a lot of young talents there.
The oldest team is Juventus, 29.6 years in average, which is not a surprise as Italian teams always have appreciated experienced players.

The most international teams are Porto and Chelsea with only 2 domestic players (out of respectively 15 and 15 players) whereas Leverkusen, Bayern and Atletico reach the symbolic line of 50% of domestic players.

U21 players among these teams: Calhanoglu, Wendell, Oliver Torres, Gimenez, Arnold, Jedvaj, Ruben Neves, Brandt, Saul, Weiser.
Some of them will might become the stars of tomorrow!
