England moves from 7th to 2nd place since 2nd Oktober and Italy drops from 2nd to 4th.

Italy had 680 and England 341. So England + 482 and Italy only +82.
Great Performance from Portugal!

England winning their pts against good teams but struggle against weaker teams. Germany, Russia the opposite.

Great work

@Lyonnais:

Fascinating as always. A good illustration of how this ranking system works is Sevilla in the latest ranking: they're having a crummy season in both the league and the CL thus far--but they've defeated Barça, Real, and Valencia (plus Borussia M.), and they're fifth :!: :applause: :applause: :applause:

Last month even better with West Ham: out in Cup, in EL Q out in League 6th but beat Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and M.City and they lead last month.

again, Lyonnais, what means this ranking where PSG is even not among the 20 first??????
so, on what you base cannot make any sense, if you have for example Moenchengladbach and not Paris......there is a world between both in favor of the french team.

Malko, PSG hasn't played any top teams except Real Madrid. And they tied and lost those games. If you'll take the time to read the criteria Lyonnais uses, it should be clear to you why PSG isn't among the first 20. Makes perfect sense :!: :P :P

Bayern are at #1. That ranking is perfectly right even without looking for the details of how it was computed. :mrgreen:

Very interesting as always. Villarreal has indeed produced some great results of late; will be interesting :wink: to see how they do against Napoli in the EL. The wins against Real, Atleti, and Athletic have all been at home; the only home loss was to Celta. The big away loss was to Barsa. Can they keep this up :?: Five points off the pace, just a point behind Real Madrid . . . who'd a thunk it :?:

Meanwhile Sevilla seems overvalued in this ranking, at least as far as "gut feeling" goes :!: :mrgreen: Ninth place in the league with half a dozen losses . . . :down: But more than that, they have just not looked good on the field . . . except against Barsa and Real, which of course explains their high ranking.

And in comparison (all comparisons are hateful :P ), Atleti seems undervalued. But then they lost to Barsa at home, tied Real at home . . .
