UEFA Youth League - New, Better Format For 2015/16
agree with fillow. Expected outcomes.
For case 1, he perfectly explains the situation. As long as the ref took his decision, it is very difficult to come back to this decision (regarless how bad it was).
For case 2, taking into account the fact that Anderlecht didn't protest would create a dangerous precedent in my opinion. This could lead to controversial situations in the future. Dura lex sed lex, but it's easier for everybody to strictly stick to the rule (and sanctions when necessary).

I suppose without AlanK, this topic has been left alone.
I just learned the final is on now with 15mins left. Chelsea are winning 2-1 over PSG, and so while the CL is still looking for a defending champ to successfully defend, it could happen in this competition in the third year of its existence.
Chelsea beat Anderlecht 3-0 in one semi and PSG beat Real Madrid 3-1 in the other.

It's all PSG. They've somehow already blown 3 massive chances. Chelsea will not survive if this continues...
Chelsea retain their title.
However, I think they were very lucky to do so. They were frankly awful in those last 15 minutes. All PSG, who created 2 more great chances, Chelsea were there for the taking, but PSG inexplicably failed to pull the trigger.
I wonder what on Earth happened in the rest of the game for Chelsea to get into that winning position.

Watching highlights, Chelsea got off to a fast start and got an early goal. Then PSG got a penalty straight after and that was saved. It seems Chelsea were better in the first half and PSG came out a different team. Scored in the 58th minute. But Chelsea scored pretty much straight after the PSG goal. Then they somehow weathered the storm from there.
Legia won youth championship for 2nd time in a row and will represent Poland in the UYCL next season.

Zrinjski Mostar won the U19 championship in Bosnia and Herzegovina following their Senior side. Bosnia and Herzegovina youth champion is still not secured to play in the domestic champion path as two domestic champions have to transfer to the Champions League path but as there is around 15 teams who are in game for that so I'm quite sure Zrinjski will play the UEFA Youth League in Domestic champions path

FC Porto are U19 champions in Portugal, so they'll be in the UEFA Youth League whether the main team wins in the playoffs or not.
