Especially when you consider how many finals Benfica reached since.

DFB-Pokal Semi Final, is only 1 leg?

Looks like Bayern is the only one with cup left, but also the only team confident on their domestic league.
with possible final, one game more. (5 league + 2 cup)
Then 3 other semi-finalist all have 6 league matches left.

Yes, DFB-Pokal rounds are always single-leg only. There are 64 teams in the main competition, so you need to win 6 games to win the cup.

Oh Barça, Barça. How the mighty have fallen. Now I hope Bayern wins this. For Pep mostly. I don't care for Bayern normally.

Somehow I still don't think we can make it this year but who knows. Now I'd prefer Man City in the semis, for no particular reason.
...for the simple reason of preventing another dull single-country final 100% sure. We already had one too many of these in the past few seasons.

Iniesta should had been sent off 2 minutes before, so no, no penalty.
How can that penalty not given cost Barca the CL? First of all, a penalty is not an automatic goal. Then second, even if converted, there would have been an extra time to be played,, not an automatic Barca qualification. Last but not least, Barca can't complain about the refs at all. First leg, they were massively helped by the ref's harsh decision to sent Torres off that early instead of giving him the also possible ultimate warning.

I'm not greenbay. And your keyboard seems to be broken. :smile1:

Bayern have a chance to progress against any of the three other teams. Maybe it would be 40-60 against Real, 50-50 against Atlético and 60-40 against Man City but there are no huge favourites or underdogs anymore.

Read on other forum as well.
But looks like people just wanna complain. (sorry for complaining about others complains)

- CL is borring, it is always the same old usual suspects going through

- CL is being hurt by Barcelona is out of the tournement, would be better if they were here instead of Man.City.

I also predict for the draw friday, whenever we will have an all Spanish tie or not, some will call it fixed.
Because UEFA want ..........

Hope I am wrong.

Interesting about Barca. Reading the comments here:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36041626

I'm surprised how much people have turned on Barca. Most of the top comments are people laying into them, and / or happy they're gone.

Of course they have to score it and then win. Penalties usually go in. Being denied it massively reduced their chances. Just imagine the betting odds at that moment for Barca advancing with Messi on the free kick vs Messi preparing to take a penalty.
