. 23 First round teams still left / 73 Eliminated
. 10 Second round teams still left / 8 Eliminated

Nearly half of all teams that entering in the second round, are already gone.
Although there were a few clashes between teams that started in that round, so maybe not that surprising after all.

CSMS Iași vs Hajduk Split
SønderjyskE vs Strømsgodset
Levski Sofia vs Maribor

First round groups and survivers. Seeded (Green) Unseeded (Blue):

Group 1
Midtjylland
Cork City

Group 2
HJK
IFK Göteborg

Group 3
Dinamo Minsk
Brøndby
Aberdeen
Nõmme Kalju

Group 4
AIK
Jelgava

Group 5

I can find sources which says different things.

- 1 saying only elimanted teams get prize money, winners will 'only' get money in GS
- 1 saying all teams gets money in Q1, Q2 and Q3 and only elimanted team gets in PO
- 1 saing all teams get prize money no matter win or loose.

For last season

Code: Select all

Stage Prize Money 2015-16
First qualifying round €200,000
Second qualifying round	€210,000
Third qualifying round €220,000
Playoff round €230,000
Group Stage fee €2.4m
etc.
Thanks in advance :)
Only trust UEFA.org :)

Because you ask for Europa League, it goes as the second one you wrote and that is that all teams participating in QR1, QR2 and QR3 gets the prize money and only teams that get eliminated in PO gets the prize money for that round. Even if you qualify for the GS you still keep the money from the QR's.

Eg. You start in QR1, get eliminated in PO. You earned 860.000 €. You start in QR1 and reach GS, you earn then 630.000 € + 2,4 million for GS participation and other prize moneys/Market pool that apply only for clubs participating in GS of EL. You start in QR3 and reach GS, you earn 230.000 € + 2,4 million € for GS and other prize money/Market pool that apply only for clubs participating in GS of EL.

Champions League in qualifying rounds is a bit different.

Awesome thanks, was exacty what I was looking for. :)

Do you how it is for a team playing the CL, let's say they enter in CL Q1 and losses in Play-off.
If I gets this right.

http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague ... 58497.html
So this team wil get nothing for CL Q1-3 because they win, but will get
€3m for getting elimanted in CL PO, and also 2,4 million € for then playing EL GS? = A minimum of 5,4 mio.?

Almost. A team that starts in QR1 and drops out in PO (meaning they are transfering to EL) are going to get 250.000 € as champions, 200.000 € for participating in QR1, 300.000 € for participating in QR2, 3 million € for lossing the PO and then 2,4 million € for EL groupstage (+other revenues for playing GS EL). That is then a minimum of 6.150.000 million € (5.950.000 € for a team that starts in CL QR2). What UEFA means under "Clubs eliminated prior to the group stage" is only for group stage of Champions League.

Champions 250.000 € = every team which don't qualify for CL GS
CL QR1 200.000 € = every team participating which don't qualify for CL GS
CL QR2 300.000 € = every team participating which don't qualify for CL GS
CL QR3 400.000 € = only clubs that get eliminated in CL QR3 + are swiched to EL prize money (starting at EL PO)
PO losser 3 million € = lossers of CL PO and they keep everything they earned till then + are switching then to EL prize money distribution (starting at EL GS)
PO winner 2 million € = winners of CL PO but they don't keep anything earned in prior rounds if they played them which means they are transferning "just" this 2 million € to CL GS further prize money distribution

A club that starts in CL QR2, drops out in CL QR3 and losses in EL PO is going to get 1.180.000 €.

SirHenri wrote:I count 268 goals in ELQ1+CLQ1 in 94 matches (not counting Partizani vs. Slovan).

That's 2,85 average.
Then you miss 8 matches, since there were 4 ties in CL-Q1 and 47 in EL-Q1, so in total 102 matches (103 if you count the 1st leg of Partizani-Slovan Bratislava).
Was just looking through to see the old stats.

Was this solved?

I am mostly in doubt of goalcount of CL Q2 and EL Q1
CL Q1 and EL Q2 I am 98 % sure is correct.
And unseeded progressed also

Can this be true, I got

CL Q1
4 x 2 matches
7 goals 1st leg
11 goals 2nd leg

50 % unseeded progresses

CL Q2
17 x 2 matches
41 goals 1st leg
54 golas 2nd leg

12 % unseeded progresses
(One 'fake' seed, counted as seeded)

EL Q1
48 + 47 matches
111 goals 1st leg
141 goals 2nd leg

25 % unseeded progresses

EL Q2
33 x 2 matches
70 goals 1st leg
77 goals 2nd leg

33 % unseeded progresses
(One 'fake' seed, counted as seeded)

Very very heavy rain today over Berlin, 2 hours were enough to flood all streets and many underground stations.

This picture is 500m from stadium, where Hertha's game will be tomorrow. Our old flat is 20metres to the left, but 3rd floor.
Many shops underwater...it's not clear if and how much the match will be influenced.

Everything back to almost normal, the water is gone now, it was just too much in 2 hours to handle for sewerage (canalization).

So the match can be played without many problems it seems, the pitch should be dry enough at 20:15 CET

But the rain was really insane, never seen that before, and it did never happen in Berlin before tha last 50 years. And probably will never happen again in my life :)
