West Ham, Hertha, Sassuolo, the 2 French teams and Gent are the strongest seeded, while I think Helsinki/Beroe is by far the weakest. Too many ties from the 2nd round are pretty equal so much more difficult to choose wanted opponents. Omonoia (if through) and Apollon are seeded, so my country has good chanches to have presence in the play off round. AEK Larnaca unseeded but better team than the other two, if the draw helps a bit it might be 3. Good luck to Panathinaikos and AEK (on her return in Europe) hope they make it this year.

PS. Has UEFA some kind of rule for Serbia/Croatia/Bosnia? The are never drawn with each other. And if there is such a rule shouldn't it be public knowledge?

I think there is such a rule yes.

There is a list, which are public, but can't find it right now.

Those I remeber
- Spain-Gibraltar
- Armenia-Azerbaijan
- Russia-Georgia
- Russia-Ukraine
- Serbia-Kosovo
maybe also Serbia/Croatia/Bosnia

Also
Israel-Palestine but that is of course FIFA and not UEFA.

Serbia/Croatia/Bosnia is in effect (but not public) in the qualifying rounds and when it is possible to easy seperate (subgroups) them in order to lower down the risk and costs for organizing the game. But if all three clubs would reach, lets say, play-off of CL or the GS of both CL and EL there would be no restriction I'm pretty sure unlike those other cases where clubs from those countries can't meet each other even then.

@SteffenM - It was decided by UEFA that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo can't meet as well. While on National level I can easily see that restriction to go away, on club level it would be highly dangerous for Kosovo clubs to play a team from Republika Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina so it is easier for UEFA just to say that Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina can't meet.

Yes, but as AnelZ said, this is unofficial and holds only for the qualifying rounds when UEFA uses subgroups for the draw. This policy started in 2007 after the riots on the Zrinjski - Partizan match after which Partizan was expelled from the competition.

Seeded team to get:

Maribor/Levski
Austria Wien/Kukesi
Partizan/Zaglebie
Rijeka
Vorskla Poltava
Maccabi Haifa/Nomme Kalju
Beroe/HJK
Apollon
Dinamo Minsk/St.Patrick's
Beitar/Omonia

Others seeded teams not impossible could be Slovan Liberec, Midtjylland, Spartak Moskva (they often fail in the qualifying rounds), Rapid Wien, Hajduk Split. And i'm not sure at all that West Ham, Hertha Berlin and Sassuolo will do well...

Unseeded teams to avoid:

Grasshoppers
Luzern
AEK Athens
Vojvodina
Brondby
Goteborg

However many others teams could easily defeat seeded teams, like AEK Larnaca, Oleksandriya, Osmalinspor, Giannina...

I think that we could see many balanced matches. Let's hope so...

I think it will be Brøndby or Heracles for Hertha, so one of the harder opponents. Hoping for Basaksehir or Häcken/Cork.

From the seeded teams in this group, Dinamo Minsk is probably the team to get. After them, Maccabi, Vorskla and Spartak Moskva. Saint-Étienne is the team to avoid. The unseeded teams in this group look quite manageable for all the seeded teams (maybe except for Dinamo Minsk which might get in troubles).
AEK Larnaca will be the team to get for Maccabi (also a short travel). After that are Vojvodina and Lokomotiva Zagreb. AEK Athens looks the toughest from the unseeded, but Maccabi (or Kairat) can handle them.
Group 2

Seeded
1: AZ Alkmaar (NED) 43.612
2: Krasnodar (RUS) 24.216
3: Partizan (SRB) 16.925 or Zagłebie Lubin (POL)

8: Luzern (SUI) 8.775
9: Strømsgodset (NOR) 7.850 or SønderjyskE (DEN)
10: Slavia Praha (CZE) 6.585 or Levadia Tallinn (EST)
11: Hearts (SCO) 6.460 or Birkirkara (MLT),
12: Giannina (GRE) 5.940 or Odd (NOR)
The unseeded in this group looks the thoughest from groups 1-3. I hope that Beitar will get Slavia Praha (if they pass Omonia). If not Slavia, then Slovan Bratislava or Hearts should also be an okay draw. Any unseeded team in this group will be the favourites against the 6th seeded team.
Group 3

Seeded
1: Lille (FRA) 29.549
2: Maribor (SVN) 21.625 or Levski Sofia (BUL)
3: Austria Wien (AUT) 19.020 or Kukës (ALB)
4: Panathinaikos (GRE) 14.940
5: Maccabi Haifa (ISR) 11.725 or Nõmme Kalju (EST)
6: Hajduk Split (CRO) 10.775 or laşi (ROU)

Unseeded
7: Oleksandriya (UKR) 8.976
8: AIK Solna (SWE) 8.975 or Europa (GIB)
9: Spartak Trnava (SVK) 7.400 or Shirak (ARM)
10: Osmanlıspor* (TUR) 6.920 or Zimbru Chisinau (MDA)
11: Ventspils (LVA) 6.075 or Aberdeen (SCO)
12: Qäbälä (AZE) 5.225 or MTK Budapest (HUN)
Also tougher unseeded teams than in the first group. Spartak Trnava will be the best draw for Maccabi Haifa (if they both pass). AIK or Qäbälä will be an okay draw. Oleksandriya seems to be the team to avoid from this unseeded group.
Actually, Maccabi Haifa - Nõmme Kalju seems to be the most desirable pair in this group.

I just noticed that it will be a numbers draw (except for group 1 which has less teams).
So my wish is:
no.5 vs. no. 9 or 12 (or no. 8)
no. 6 vs. no. 10 or 7 (or no. 11).

Panathinaikos

#not: Oleksandriya, Osmanlispor
#ok: AIK, Aberdeen
#welcome: Spartak Trnava, Qabala

Panathinaikos should be the favorite against any team. Still teams from better - richier league are always dangerous.
I guess Aberdeen (or Oleksandriya).
I wish for Qabala.

AEK

#not: Saint-Étienne, Spartak Moskva
#ok: Maccabi Tel Aviv, Vorskla Poltava
#welcome: Dinamo Minsk/St Patricks

Difficult choices. AEK would be the favorite only against Dinamo Minsk/St Patricks. while Maccabi TA and Vorskla would be close to 50-50.
Must avoid Saint-Etienne first and then Spartak Moskva.
I guess Maccabi TA (or Saint-Etienne).

PAS Giannina

#not: Krasnodar, Alkmaar
#ok: Sassuolo, Partizan Belgrade, Rio Ave
#welcome: Omonia/Beitar Jerusalem

PAS Giannina first has to protect their 3-0.
After that things are going to be very tough, unless Omonia/Beitar come. Then there may be 30-35% hopes.
I guess Krasnodar (or Sassuolo)

No greek interest but I will share my opinion:

from strongest to weakest:

Group 4

1: Hertha Berlin
2: Genk
3: Rapid Wien
4: Rijeka
5: Arouca
6: Mladá Boleslav

7: İstanbul Başakşehir
8: Heracles
9: Brøndby
10: Neftçi / Shkëndija
11: Debrecen / Torpedo-Belaz Zhodino
12: Häcken / Cork City

So I wish: Hertha-Hacken, Genk-Torpedo, Rapid Wien-Neftchi, Rijeka-Brondby, Arouca-Heracles, Mlada Boleslav-İstanbul Başakşehir with all seeded team qualifying

Group 5 (the weakest unseeded group)

1: West Ham
2: Gent
3: Slovan Liberec
4: Midtjylland
5: Apollon Limassol
6: HJK Helsinki / Beroe Stara Zagora

7: Grasshoppers
8: Göteborg
9: Admira Wacker
10: Videoton
11: Viitorul Constanţa
12: Shakhtyor Soligorsk / Domžale

So I wish: West Ham-Shakhtyor, Gent-Viitorul, Slovan Liberec-Videoton, Midtjylland-Admira Wacker, Apollon Limassol-Göteborg, Helsinki-Grasshoppers with all seeded but HJK qualifying

It's also the weakest seeded group I reckon. I'd like HJK or Apollon for Videoton.
In Game of Thrones conquerors always say to the defeated side: "Bend the knee and you''ll live". As if they weren't alive right now.

I'm smarter than it shows. Just don't want to discourage anyone.

For Sassuolo:

I hope they draw the winner of Levadia/Slavia Praha, Birkirkara/Hearts or Slovan Bratislava/Jelgava. Giannina and Luzern could be dangerous.
Sonderjyske/Stromsgodset: well, should be ok, but the danish teams are on fire...
