Yes, it was really painful for Bayern to lose 1-6 at Barca, while PSG was the only team with a draw against Real after 180 minutes (along with Dortmund/group stage). :bouncy:

 "El disco de malko está rayado." = "malko's record is broken" (more or less) but better "malko is broken-recording us." The concept is that the needle of the phonograph is stuck in a groove (back when we had phonographs with needles and real records that you put on the phonograph . . . )
"Past performance is no guarantee of future results."

Didn't we have a prediction game for CL and EL qualifiers last year? Will we have it this year too?

Since next year is WC year, I would deem it normal to have qualifying matches this early. But for other years, it kind of defeats the purpose of an off-season. June 27th is pre-season even for leagues that start in early-to-mid July. Back in the day, Intertoto used to be optional, but now the equivalent ELQR's are compulsory and expanded.

At this rate, more and more leagues will move to spring-autumn seasons. What was usually done for climate reasons will be to be competitive in European competitions.

well ELQ is also optional, like you don't have to apply for a license...

World Cup has no influence on early start of CL/EL-Q, since the calendar untill the winterbreak is seperate from the calendar after the winterbreak.

The only difference usually is that in a year of a World Cup or Euro there is 1 less week between the 1/8 finals and quarterfinals CL/EL compared to years without a World Cup or Euro.
