Euro 2016 Kicks off in 20 Minutes but the Fixtures for next season were released last week (I was away for a Break).
Joining Strasbourg from National are Orleans who return after just one season away from Ligue 2 and Amiens who are back after last playing in Ligue 2 in 2009.

Now, Euro is over and 1 priority for Lille : keeping Eder !
especially the teams playing Europe have to do everything to keep the best players if we want to see french teams in finals too in club.competition

Now for this season, i have some wishes:

1) FC Metz not being relegated again
2) The french teams that were on european places styaing there and doing a good CL and EL.....2 semi-finalists and a finalist should be the aim
3) PSG winning the CL

sth special this season: we have again a derby lorrain in Ligue 1 : Metz-Nancy...well so we have two, cause Nancy -Metz is another one..

respect each other, why should Metz be anti-Nancy and why should Nancy be anti-Metz?????? those derbies in Ligue 1 are jhust great, hoping teams like Strasbourg, Sochaux, Sedan will join us soon....

La Palisse would not write this any better. :D

Funny off topic fact: a Genoa fan once said that what matters is: Genoa to avoid relegation, Genoa to win both derbies, Genoa to finish at least 1 point above Sampdoria, and... Sampdoria to avoid relegation! Because in such way there are two other derbies in the next season. In case Genoa relegates, of course, it is important that Sampdoria relegates too, finishing at least 1 point behind Genoa.

Good luck, this won't be easy. French clubs have in general the tendency to miss in important European spring matches. Will the next season be so different? It is fair enough for a wish, and like you state, it is your wish, but this would be a pretty big surprise. Which French sides could resonably reach a semifinal in your opinion?
Malko wrote:3) PSG winning the CL
Good luck. It can be. Chelsea won the big cup in the less likely season, after several years of being a protagonist unable to win, and PSG has a quite solid and skilled squad; but again, it is not the top favorite: let say PSG would be a reasonable outider surprise champion.
Gone.

Can reach e semi-final : PSG of course...it can be possible for Lyon or Monaco (if they are 3rd of their CL-groups and play the EL, it's more likely than in CL Ko-stage, otherwise in CL round of 8 would be great), in EL it's also possible for Lille (who jhust signed Eder for 4 mor years, so show ambition).
For Saint-Etienne, round of 8 would be already a good result..., Nice...hum, i do not believe in Nice.

So, PSG in CL semifinal for the first time since, IIRC, 1994 or 1995, plus two between OL, Monaco and Lille in EL semifinal.
Quite ambitious. Not impossible. However, pretty hard to happen. How knows?
Good luck. :)

That "fanshop" is just a pop-up store, opening from 22nd until 30th July.

The prize money for this season Coupe de la Ligue has been released

1st round loser = 199.000 €
2nd round loser = 240.000 €
1/ 16 loser - 348.000 €
1/8 loser - 526.000 €
1/4 loser - 765.000 €
1/2 loser - 1.213.000 €
Losing Finalist - 2.000.000 €
Champion - 2.500.000 €

How does this compare to other countries who have a League cup? I guess England League cup has a greater prize for winning.

I don't know about the exact values in Portugal. They divide have a prizepool depending on sponsors, TV money, etc and then divide it like this:

1st round – 20,00%
2nd round – 25,00%
3rd round – 32,50%
Semifinal – 13,50%
Final – 9,0%

But I don't know how much money will be in the prizepool. I know a few seasons ago the winner got 1m€, but the main sponsor changed since.

Zippy, do not forget that to these prices are added the TV rights for Coupe de la Ligue.

Concerning Ligue 2, i hope this year Lens will make it. Lens is a club that belongs to Ligue 1.

Yes, sure is, however, they had the wrong colours for teams all night a simple task which BeIn failed at. Anyway 5 0-0 draws tonight in Ligue 2 remember last season we had a slow start as well.
