Anzhi Makhachkala 1 - 0 FC Orenburg (these 3 points probably save Anzhi`s bacon)

Ural beat Rubin! Can they do the same in the cup? If they win the cup and draw Marítimo in the EL, that'd be a distance of 3911 miles, beating the distance between Benfica and Astana (is that the record?)!

Amkar lost. :(

I believe Aberdeen - Almaty is the record.

Tom Tomsk 1 - 0 Amkar (surprise, Tomsk looked already dead and buried)
Ural 1 - 0 Rubin Kazan (small surprise, Rubin must count on the cup)
Lokomotiv Moscow 1 - 1 Spartak Moscow (expected result)

No, Lisbon-Astana beats it by a lot.

You are correct:

According to http://www.freemaptools.com/how-far-is-it-between.htm:

Aberdeen - Almaty = 5496 km
Lisbon - Astana = 6179 km

Then Aberdeen - Almaty was the record at that time I guess and it was beaten by Lisbon - Astana later.

Russia 2nd division game -

Baltika Kaliningrad v Luch-Energiya Vladivostok
The away team did travel 10.300 kms (!!), 12 hours by flight then 7 days by train.

That's just crazy.

Usually teams prefer using flights for such aim. 7 days on train isn't good for players form. And seems for their last game Luch also chose plane option.
