Michel takes over at Rayo, as the home loss to next-to-last-place Mirandés was the death-knell for Rubén Baraja. :( :(

VfL Wolfsburg: Andries Jonker (former Barcelona and Bayern assistant coach) replaces Valerien Ismael, who was a bad choice after firing Hecking.

His assistant coach in Wolfsburg: Freddie Ljungberg.

With Luis Enrique stepping down at Barça, as.com tells us that the candidates to replace him are

1. Jorge Sampaoli, currently Sevilla's coach.
2. Ernesto Valverde, currently Athletic's coach. Out of contract at season's end.
3. Juan Carlos Unzúe, currently Luis Enrique's "second." But this option is "losing strength."
4. Probably already eliminated: Ronald Koeman, currently Everton's coach.

According to German tabloid Bild, Lucien Favre wants to accept an offer by Borussia Dortmund to succeed Thomas Tuchel, but at the moment, Nice aren't prepared to let him go - although Claudio Ranieri seems to be a candidate to replace Favre.

Reports say Marco Silva and FC Porto didn't come to an agreement and the coach is now closer to signing with Crystal Palace.

I heard Olympiacos considers Besnik Hasi.
The worst coach ever. I think Belgians may confirm.

Yes he's awful. The worst coach Anderlecht has had in the last 20 years.

Are you surprised?

I see some Danish experts etc. discuss whenever this was a surprise or not.
(The majority says yes)

The media have been predicting this for weeks. Just before matchday 32 or 33, Dortmund's CEO Watzke had criticised Tuchel for his behaviour after the bomb attack (!). This was seen as a symptom of irreconcilable differences. Then, after the cup final, team captain Marcel Schmelzer said he was shocked that Nuri Sahin hadn't been in the squad. After that, it was virtually impossible for Tuchel to keep his job. I'm not sure who's to blame. Tuchel is said to be an odd fellow, a nerd. Watzke, on the other hand, is eccentric as well, and I thought it was bizarre that he didn't support his coach or the team after the bomb attack.

Now Dortmund want to sign Lucien Favre who's said to be an odd fellow as well. Next accident waiting to happen...
