Stats across domestic leagues

I couldn't find a fitting thread, hope it's okay with creating this one.
Sorry if I missed a good thread for this.

I just came across a description of the Turkish League:
- Turkish League being the 2nd oldest when looking at players actually playing pr. minut. (just below 28)
only beaten by Cyprus.

- Turkish League is the 2nd most user of foregin players

- And 2nd lowest on lowest on the use of club trained players.

Any who have come across the actually lists, instead of this small pinpoints?

I found a little on the football-observatory pr. clubs.
- Club trained players % of min played

Well done Atletico Bilbao, Real Sociedad, Lyon and FC Tatran
(I will use this as an example next time one asks about isn't every one a "buying club") :)

- Number of seasons in the first team squad of the employer club
http://www.football-observatory.com/IMG ... k/stay/en/

I am great surprised that the 3 big Spanish, Bayern Munchen and Man United is up there.

- Average age on the pitch

Well done Nice, RB Leipzig, Nordsjælland and Ajax. :)

When you think about it, the biggest drivers for transfers are
a) players moving to a bigger or richer club after doing well at a smaller one (or alternatively, from a club that finds the money on offer too hard to resist)
b) Players who can't get in the team being sold on.
c) Out of contract players, or those nearing the end of a contract being sold before they leave for nothing.

The big rich clubs needn't worry about a) so much, so that's a whole category of player turnover nearly gone.

Athletic and Real Sociedad need to do it because of their self imposed rules, but well done indeed to Lyon! A club and relying so much on home-grown players a this level is very impressive!

and most of these players come from Lyon and its region. It's at the same time an excellent thing to build (keep) a strong club culture but to some extent it can be a disadvantage as the dressing room is sometimes said to be reluctant to accept "imports" (although this is strongly denied by players and staff).

@ Oldepaso: there is another reason. Players in the big clubs generally have very good salaries and it is sometimes difficult for the players to find other clubs able to pay the same kind of wages.

@ Steffen: thanks for the stats. What I find interesting is to have weighting averages based on time spent on the pitch. It's much more interesting in my opinion than simple averages based on the number of players within the squad.

The Belgian league has more foreigners than Belgians.

That is so because the majority of the Belgian players are playing all over Europe in the biggest leagues and biggest clubs
