France: Le Havre and Metz promoted to Ligue 1

Ruch Chorzów promoted to Ekstraklasa just one year after promoting from II liga and two years after promoting from III liga

Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza, Wisła Kraków, Puszcza Niepołomice and Stal Rzeszów will compete in play-offs for the last promotion place.

Skra Częstochowa, Chojniczanka Chojnice and Sandecja Nowy Sącz were already relegated to II liga before.

The final of the Dutch promotion/relegation play-offs is:

Berane-Mornar 0:2

As expected Rudar and Mornar stay up.

In Greece, Kifisia FC, from Kifisia, Greater Athens, has been promoted! Kifisia FC will play in the top division for the first time in their history.

Also in the Netherlands we will have a new club in the top level next season. Almere City won the play-off final against FC Emmen (which is relegated after just 1 season).

In Sweden, Varbergs BoIS has been relegated, after 4 seasons in the top division. They are based at Varberg, SW Sweden.

In the Republic of Ireland, University College Dublin AFC (the football team of University College Dublin) has been relegated after two seasons in the top division. They had competed in 2015-16 EL where they eliminated F91 Dudelange and were eliminated by Slovan Bratislava.

Galway United has been promoted. They are from Galway, West Ireland and they had played European football during 1985-92; they were eliminated thrice by Danish Lyngby Boldklub, Odense Boldklub and Dutch FC Groningen.
