I read a nice article about the Inzaghi brothers: Pippo Inzaghi had a great playing career mainly with Juventus and AC Milan. He also had 57 apps and 25 goals for Italy. He has coached several 'smaller' clubs with a 40% win rate. His younger brother, Simone Inzaghi, most notably played for Lazio and had 3 apps for Italy. However he has been much more successful as a manager (Lazio and Inter Milan) with a 58% win rate.

The longest serving manager in the English Football League, John Coleman, had been sacked by Accrington Stanley after 23 years of managerial service.

That statement is a disgrace.

Speaking of England the Roy Hodsgon firing was also a bit disgraceful. Wasn't he in hospital when they informed him he was fired?

Nope he was fired. He even released a statement after saying he understands that due to his health situation it made sense for the club to do it, but he was not happy. He had a contract until the summer and he is keen to stay in football management.

Nope, he wasn't fired. He knew they had already a coach for the new season and due to the bad results there had been talks about terminating the contract earlier, one of those talks was on the night before he got hill. Then he resigned, was not fired.

Oh come on man. He was pushed out. Perhaps he was not sacked officially with the headline reading 'Hodgson sacked' but he was pushed out and his health problems was used as an excuse to get rid of him. If he was about to get fired due to bad results then he was basically pushed to step down at the point of his illness and I think it was a cruel way to do it. He did not plan to step down that is for sure, but if you really want to play semantics fine he was not officially fired but would have been had he not 'stepped down'.
