Use this list to determine which teams can/cannot meet in the second round. This is the seeding of teams for the first and second round the 95/96 UEFA Cup. For each season under consideration the number of points and the number of games played by the team are displayed. Then the coefficient given as the sum of quotients points over games for the five years under consideration is given. 16 teams are seeded in both first and second round. The decision whether teams had to play in a preliminary round was based on a different ranking list, the so-called country coefficient. Seeded teams which were eliminated in the first round (marked +) will be replaced by teams further down the list for second round seeding. From the third round on no seeding is applied.
