Re: Battle for important ranking positions 2024-25
Having 3 clubs in the GS/LS for the first time is starting to pay off -- 1.25p in one matchday for Sweden. Unfortunately Cyprus with 3 clubs in the CoL had the same results and maintain their distance. In the end I am sure Cyprus will end up above Sweden on the ranking, but at the same time I am ...

Re: Battle for important ranking positions 2024-25
The fight for the 33rd place will be very uncertain, as many as 7 countries are fighting for 2 places in the Top 33. :applause: 32.KOS 12.041 4 33.IRL 12.000 1/ 4 --------------------------------------------------- 34.ARM 11.500 1/ 4 35.ICL 11.333 1/ 4 36.LAT11.250 1/ 4 37.FIN 11.000 1/ 4 38.FAR 10 ...

Re: 2024/25 Champions League: Play-off Round
Yes. Btw, Czechia still has an exception that players are not employees of the club but independent contractors (don't ask me how it is possible on european common market, I really don't know). Thank you. So to clarify, roughly the take-home pay for the best players in Slavia is around EUR 500k ...

Re: 2024/25 Champions League: Play-off Round
At least in Slavia it is way below 1M EUR/year. I'd guess it is slightly above 0,5M Eur/year and in Plzeň even less. I assume this is net/take-home pay? Yes. Re: 2024/25 Champions League: Play-off Round
Really impressed by Slavia today. Czech clubs seems to be doing something right in the last few years, Slovan also in Slovakia. Step by step they show a better face in Europe every year. What is the wage budget of these clubs (Slavia, Sparta, Viktoria, Slovan) if anybody knows? I am sure it will be ...

Re: Swedish Football 2022 -
Maybe we can remove "2022" from the title of this thread and just keep it to general Swedish football?
Huge win for Malmö today against 2nd placed Djurgården, 4-0 at home and 10 pts clear (DIF with a match in hand vs Häcken though) at the top.

Re: 2024/25 UEFA Europa League League Phase
Happy with Malmo's draw, I think they can collect 8-10 points and go through. All opposition seems beatable.
Elfsborg's draw is ridiculous, but I guess their fans will at least be able to travel to see some big teams.

Re: Battle for important ranking positions 2024-25
Cyprus with 3 clubs in CoL LS -- will likely be a huge season for them. And Sweden with 2 clubs in EL and 1 in CoL can probably forget passing Cyprus on the ranking.

Re: Battle for important ranking positions 2024-25
For top 20, they need to overtake either Ukraine or Croatia. It's very doable. I saw a simulation on X that the Swedish coefficient for the season might be as high as 12+. That should definitely mean 20 or better I'd imagine. Max 9... If both Malmo and Elfborg go to EL then there may not be that ...

Sparta defending well. Malmo struggling to create anything. Will this be their 3rd ever loss at home in European qualifiers at the Eleda Stadium?

Re: 2024/25 Champions League: Play-off Round
If Bodø/Glimt gets past Zvezda, there is a chance that they fortify their dominance in Norwegian football for a decade much like Rosenborg managed in the 90´s. Rosenborg is a much bigger club, although they too weren´t that great before they started their dominance in the late 80´s. As a Tromsø su ...
