Botafogo's race is getting more and more interesting....will it be the right time for the championship title?? :D
Palmeiras had a lot of consecutive victories and was just behind them.
Botafogo might win Brasileirao and Libertadores. And might lose everything.

Re: Europa League 24/25, Matchday 1

Its name has been Istanbul since 1453 Galatasaray Paok match I think the chances are 50:50 Paok is a likeable team. Let's see what will happen. Check your sources. The city was only renamed in 1930, thats why AEK and PAOK have the K for Constantinople. İstanbul name was no coined in 1930. İstanbul d ...

Re: Europa League 24/25, Matchday 1

Just noticed there are 4 teams from Constantinople in the competition 😀 PAOK will try to go for the trifecta tomorrow vs. Galatasaray. Having beaten Besiktas in CL-Q2 in 2020 (3:1). And having qualified vs. Fenerbahce in EL-PO back in 2010. In extra time with this unforgettable Muslimovic goal . ...

Re: What other sports do you follow?

Today's race was really boring, now F1 goes off for almost a month like in summer. I mean, why?? Weird schedule :dontknow: Just look at the schedule and at a world map. Teams will have to move everything from Singapore to Mexico for a double header (Mexico-Brazil) after 2 double headers, meaning in ...

Re: Champions League 24/25, Matchday 1

If they create a superleague with 50 teams maybe :upset: Are you so delusional? If all North American professional leagues have 30 or more than 30 teams than Europe with more population surely can have a league with around 50 teams :dontknow: Eventually it will come to this though of course I don't ...

Re: Champions League 24/25, Matchday 1

Are you out of your mind? When they create a Superleague it will only have top4 teams and PSG. Not any dutch or portuguese. Celtic, Praha, FCK? Joking right? They will have a spot in a second tier competition, kind of Europa/Conference League, that will have barely the same prize money that those ...

Yes, the problem is that lion's share of revenue comes from domestic TV market and so teams from small countries are disadvantaged from the start. Even giants like Celtic or Rangers can't compete despite their big attendances. The only solution possible is European superleague but folks don't like ...

Re: Champions League 24/25, Matchday 1

As others have said, the problem is the inequality in European football and not the format. I think a huge part of football fans is open to a new format, but then there are also many who now blame it for "minnows" like Dinamo Zagreb not belonging and ruining the CL, although they often qualified ...
