The new format of the EURO U17 has 8 finalists (down from 16) so it makes sense that in addition to being able to compete for the European title all of the finalists qualify for that year's U17WC.

Yes, the league system of dividing teams into three leagues A-C will be used for both Women's Euro and WWC qualifying.

So what UEFA need to decide is how many automatic spots are available, how many play-off spots are available ...

I was thinking about that the other day. There is usually a FIFA Council meeting this month so I expect it will be decided then, what with the OFC Qualifiers being completed by the end of the summer.

I expect at least 4 slots to be allocated to the OFC.
