But not before celebrating in streets and squares, however it is not a big deal if people get the virus while being vaccinated. In the UK deaths crumbled even if there's a new wave ongoing. In Italy we're still a bit behind with vaccinations, but the people at risk should be now already vaccinated, and so far it seems vaccines work against variants too.

True but from today there are practically no Covid restrictions in England anyway, so it was almost like a trial before that kind of thing would be officially allowed anyway. Also as you say, despite the high number of cases there right now, the number of deaths has remained very low because of the amount of vaccinations.matt wrote:But not before celebrating in streets and squares
The article is bad? Perhaps, then so what? No, seriously, a bad article and you get mad? Calm down, go outside and breathe.Lorric wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 18:25And so what if they do? What, should Italy lose? Should we put some token ethnics in the team and rob people who deserve it of playing for their country?Overgame wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 17:27The article is about which party will take advantage of that win ...Lorric wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 16:04
I read it. There's a salient point about Italian citizenship in there, and it did surprise me that it works that way, but it seems like such a minor thing compared to how much they're trying to blow it up as in this article. I don't think missing out on a handful of U national caps before you turn 18 is going to have much effect on your career. If indeed you want to play for Italy.
You'd never see anyone talking about non-white countries lacking ethnic diversity. Most of them are homogenous.
Article's garbage. Hand wringing, race baiting garbage. Everything in it but the citizenship aspect basically just makes me think "So what? Who cares?"
Don't worry, it doesn't have such an effect on me.Overgame wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 21:24The article is bad? Perhaps, then so what? No, seriously, a bad article and you get mad? Five players from the Swedish squad has retired from the national team after the euros. Mikael Lustig, Andreas Granqvist, Sebastian Larsson, Gustav Svensson and Marcus Berg. This really illustrates how old and experienced a squad, Sweden brought to the tournament. Granqvist has more or less been finished as a player for several months, but was in the squad as the captain for his leadership skills. He has now retired from all football. Lustig and Larsson started all matches at the Euros, while Berg was on the pitch at some point for all of them.
Games with sell-out crowds in Budapest are now over for almost a month. Still no shortage of body bags in Hungary.
