Sky's broadcast (which is used internationally by almost everyone) is becoming progressively worse and worse with their "Hamilton only" bias in plans. Today they also showed the other British drivers and almost no-one else !

The coverage used to be much better in terms of sharing the screen time between teams and drivers, I feel that since last year this has changed.

The time Sky was a reference is gone, the time it was worth to pay to subscribe them.
They lost the notion of how ridiculous they have become and how far they are from what they used and should be. But its not just Sky. Its all british media covering F1, which represent an huge share of F1 media coverage.
Russell is a great driver but this "Russell will be announced at Mercedes" everyweek is just a non-sense.

Fortunately the current portuguese broadcaster is really making an excellent work, not just broadcasting the practices, qualy and Race but getting people on track, getting exclusive interview's, after and post race analysis, weekly reports, technical presentations, that I don't miss Sky at all.

And we have the first F1 Sprint winner: Max Verstapen!
Superb start, stronger race pace.
Mercedes behind him abd then an impressive and peaceful Leclerc. Good pace clearly ahead of the two Papaya's. Alonso did an amazing start winning 6 positions but the race pace is low. We couldn't keep McLaren behind but he kept Vettel. Russell will start from P9. Sainz had and incident but managed to recovery to P11 but showing great pace.
Checo Perez is the big loser, with bad start losing position after position, then a spin and retirement in last lap.
Tommorow 2 Mercedes to attack Max.
The tyres had some problems today in only 17 laps, tommorow its expected to be hotter. Making the race with just one pitstop might be hard, and lead to surprises in the last laps. Mercedes will probably split strategies.

Today the world has seen the future champion of the world in the lightweight division of the UFC. His name: Islam Makhachev, 29, of Lak ethnicity from Makhachkala, Dagestan, Russia. He beat Tiago Moises from Brazil in the 4th round with a rear naked choke. (It's easy some would say when Khabib Nurmagomedov is in your corner.) Yes, he has grown up with Khabib, his coach was also Khabib's father. Nobody has the guts to fight him from the top contenders, but after this win they'll be forced. I think he's better than anybody in his division, yes, he'd beat Poirier, too, not to mention McGregor.

Hamilton pushes Max out of the race (according with very strict reading of the laws stewards have been doing this season, which I don't agree) gets 10 seconds penalty and he still manages to take off the victory of an huge Charles Leclerc dealing with an engine with powers cut, in last laps.

Yes. I have to let this cool down.

No wonder all the big names try to hide from him. I knew about him before and seen him, expected already to fight for the title, but then the pandemic came. His record 20 wins and 1 loss impressive, too. He was paid 96 thousand dollars, just think, MCGregor got 23 million.

Australia and New Zealand withdraw from the Rugby League World Cup.

That's going to open up quite the can of worms...

When will Red Bull realize that Mercedes and Hamilton don't give a shit about fair play and that they have to respond and be dirty as well if they want to win it?

Incredible GP. Ocon must say "thank you" to his teammate Alonso because he defended himself heroically against Hamilton for more than 10 laps and prevented Lewis to get close enough to Ocon (and Vettel).

Two Williams on points! Ferrari couldn't get a podium and as usual Alfa Romeo wasted a golden opportunity.

Overall a good weekend for Hamilton, but on the podium he was exhausted. I thought he was almost fainting at one point.
