Despite leading Nice to a Nice finish as group winners in the UECL, the current position of Nice in Ligue 1 (11th) isn't so Nice, so it's time for Nice to say "Favre-well" to Favre, which, well, isn't so Nice.
2022/2023 Conference League Group D: Partizan - Köln - Nice - Slovácko
Despite winning this group the sacking is logical, kolnsidering the awful domestic form. Nice and Favre part(izan) ways.
International break hater
It's ilogical for Nice to sack Favre. If they want to play in Europe League next season they would only need to defeat one or two between West Ham, Fiorentina, Lazio and Villarreal and few other minnows. But in Ligue 1 they need to eliminate Lille, Lorien, Lyon and Monaco. It looks far easier in the Conference.
Nice SACK Favre even though they won a group with SlovACKo.matt wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 15:13Despite winning this group the sacking is logical, kolnsidering the awful domestic form. Nice and Favre part(izan) ways.

Two draws in round 6 and everyone stayed in the same position.
Congratulations Nice for winning the group!
And congratulations Partizan for also progressing from this group!
I was right about Köln third and Slovácko last, but I was wrong about Partizan winning the group above Nice.
