This ranking is based on the value of the opponents regardless of the competition* and/or round played.
The value of the opponents is based on coefficients (based on UEFA Coefficients)
Example of coefficients:
- Man City 84.4, Bayern 83.0, Liverpool 80.6 (meaning that eg a win vs. Man City is thus worth 84.4x3=253.2 pts)
- between 70 and 80 pts: Chelsea, Real Madrid
- between 60 and 70 pts: Paris, Man United, Juventus, Barcelona, Roma
- between 50 and 60 pts: Atletico, Ajax, Villarreal, Sevilla, Leipzig

some stats about these key clubs

Average age of their squads generally is 27-28 years. Arsenal (25.6) and Barcelona (26.6) are the youngest ones, Inter (30.2 years) the oldest.
Rico Lewis, Evan Ferguson and Gavi are just 18 years old whereas handanovic (38), Modric, Milner, Dzeko and Neuer (all 37) are the oldest ones.

Mots of them have 4-5 domestic players in their squads. Barcelona with 10 Spanish players out of 19 (53%) , Bayern (7/17, i.e. 41%) and Brighton (6/14) are the most local.
