No need to be a smart-ass, especially coming from someone who lives in the USA, a country full of people who notoriously ridicule themselves on the internet by showing their complete ignorance about the world. I could check Google or Wikipedia before typing here, but I prefer authenticity and speaking from memory.

And sorry, unlike you, I'm not at school anymore to remember geographical minutiae by heart. Go to bed, "Saggy" boob.
So you fail and your only response is name calling. Showing who is the “ignorant” that “ notoriously ridicule themselves” 🤷🏽‍♂️
Por qué no te callas, Chichi Caída?
You should follow your own advice.
mspm89 wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2024 06:23 Oh, and BTW, right off the bat you failed and said something really ignorant, because nobody in the Caribbean hates Mexico, there's no cultural or sporting reason to do so. Maybe Jamaica who were robbed once by them in the Gold Cup. Once. Not every GC or WCQ.
What about “probably” don’t you understand? Also, might be a good idea for you to talk with fans from more countries (e.g., T&T) and actually go to Mexico games in the Gold Cup for example. Making assumptions something you seems to be very good at, unfortunately your assumptions are often wrong.

You made a stupid geographical error, in a response to a post that supported your position. Much better to just admit it and move on. Instead you go on ad hominem attacks and name calling. This seem to be a pattern with you. Not a good look.

That you read one or two T&T fans attacking Mexico in social media doesn't validate your position. You're simply wrong, so stop trying to play the CONCACAF or LatAm "expert".

Plus, no matter how much "agreeing", your sarcastic comment was unwarranted, and my admission of geographical shortcoming was implied, I didn't need to say it out loud.

Are you going to go on with this, boludo?

Imo this should be the norm. Innocent until proven guilty. I'm tired of seeing innocent players get punished.
Absolutely innocent until proven guilty, but now he has been formally charged and there will be a forthcoming hearing; given the gravity of the charge it's inappropriate for him to play until it's decided.
For me the charge doesn't matter. You're punishing them before guilt has been determined.
West Ham being very supportive of Paqueta too:

Heimir Hallgrímsson has resigned as coach of Jamaica’s national senior men’s football team, the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) announced late Sunday.

The announcement came hours after the Reggae Boyz went down 3-0 to Venezuela to end their Copa America campaign pointless with three straight defeats.

Hmm. I don't think anyone expected Jamaica to progress from this group or even get a lot of points. Perhaps it has something to do with the issues Leon Bailey spoke about.

Final day of Group C fixtures

Uruguay are all but mathematically qualified, while Bolivia are all but mathematically eliminated, so realistically it is USA and Panama competing for the other spot. Whoever have the better result int terms of win/draw/loss will advance to the quarter-finals.

If USA and Panama both win, it will be a 3-way tie between Uruguay, USA and Panama with 6 points, so the tiebreakers (goal difference, goals scored, head-to-head record, red cards, yellow cards, drawing of lots) will be applied.

Same if USA and Panama both lose, and it will be a 3-way tie between USA, Panama, and Bolivia with 3 points.

If USA and Panama both draw, USA will advance with a better goal difference over Panama.

Uruguay play with their strongest team, no "B" team here. If the US can beat them, they deserve to go through.

Panama leading 1-0, so unless Bolivia score, the pressure in on the USA to score.

Half time: USA 0-0 Uruguay, Bolivia 0-1 Panama

So Panama advancing as runners-up as of now, but one goal by either USA or Bolivia will send the hosts through.

A lifeline for USA as Bolivia equalize! USA going through on goal difference if scores stay the same.

Ouch, a few minutes after Bolivia's goal, Uruguay score to take a 1-0 lead. So Panama back to 2nd place, but once again, a goal by USA or Bolivia put USA back to 2nd.

Well, more bad news for the Americans. Panama score to take a 2-1 lead, so they now need a combination of 2 goals from USA and/or Bolivia to take 2nd place.
