I've made my predictions for this evening's opener and tomorrow's games.
I'm a newbie at this!

Things weren't going very well for me in this game up until now...
Getting an exact score gives lots of points, and nailing the double booster on it is very important.
I put mine on Belgium win on the 1st matchday...
So I'm trailing quite a bit now, but we're only at the start of this game!

The only matches where I got 0 points was in both Group E matches.EarlofBug wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 21:27 Things weren't going very well for me in this game up until now...

Perhaps I should check my Fantasy Football team for round 2 and make some transfers.

There is also a great Quiz game in UEFA.com (no possibility to create leagues for this one), I'm currently 62nd among over half a million players.

Early lead for @kenzel in the fantasy. I'm firmly mid-table, though I note that collectively we're doing well - mid-table in our league puts you in the top 20% overall.
No to Superleague
Impressive, particularly as I'm willing to bet there will be people above you who created a second account to see the questions beforehand.

I'm not sure if the questions are the same for everyone. Possibly they're random. And when you fail it doesn't tell you the right answer, so your "workaround" rould require 4 accounts.

Damn, I changed my prediction of France - Netherland from a draw to France win.
On the other hand, I don't know why I put a 1-1 draw in Poland - Austria match few days ago. If I had predictet today, I would go for Austria win, but I didn't change my old prediction.
So I lost points from the changed and unchanged predictions

Where did you finish in the end?
I quite liked the format of the fantasy game. The addition of ball recoveries makes centre backs and defensive midfielders more viable than games that just use goals, assists and clean sheets. The strategic element of the subs and captaincy works well in the tournament format.
I finished top 1% overall, but my aspirations of a top 10,000 finish were dashed when the knockouts had little in the way of shocks. I used both chips in the groups to take advantage of the fixtures being known. That worked well at the time but meant I was overly conservative in the knockouts and lost rank.
If I could change one thing about the game it would be to make the player pricing less generous. I generally had budget left over. Presumably they want to draw in casual fans who want to pick all the famous players, but this meant depth of knowledge wasn't tested so much. I'd prefer it if the pricing forced you to pick players from the less hyped nations. Someone who, say, correctly identified the potential in the Slovenia defence got less reward than they deserved.

I finished 87th (among 810.310 players) but I forgot to play a day or two between the semis and the final...Oldelpaso wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 18:17Where did you finish in the end?

If it wasn't for that I believe I would have finished among top 50.
I didn't understand how Fantasy Football worked and finished 9th in our league of 10 players.
The Predictor was much better for me, I finished 2nd in our league of 13 players.
