Thanks! I wish all the best in his career; nice player!angel_87 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2024 16:12 Thiago Motta after the 2-2 vs Brest: “Chiesa and all the other players not called up for the match against Brest are not part of the project. various hypotheses but nothing official... there is talk of Napoli (Conte likes him, who in the 3-4-3 could deploy him as a right winger with Kvaratskhelia on the other side), there is talk of Inter (on a free transfer, the contract expires in 2025), he could remain out of the squad for the entire season.
Juventus has already entered the mindset of having to lower its economic demands: to save the last year of the player's salary (around 12 million), it would be ready to align the demand up to 20 million. Ramadani, Chiesa's agent, has been working mainly in London in recent days, on the trail of Chelsea and Tottenham.

Deal's done.BurningStorm wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 09:07 Seems like Dortmund will sell Füllkrug to West Ham After losing Reus and Hummels they really think it's a good idea to lose another real German guy who is popular in Dortmund? They bought the strong Stuttgart striker Guirassy, but I would keep Füllkrug, especially with the new CL mode and more games, they could also play together. And on top West Ham is a bit boring for me, but now I have to watch them more often (if the deal really happens).

Have to say I'm surprised. It's not a huge transfer, and wouldn't have thought Dortmund needed the cash after a CL final run and qualification to the CL. Pity West Ham aren't in Europe anymore, but I expect him to do some damage for them!
40-year old French MF Mathieu Valbuena to Athens Kallithea. Let's see what he can do with them.

I wouldn't say they need cash, but in his age (31) he doesn't want to be a bench player and after signing Guirassy it looked like it's either the bench or a new adventure.Lorric wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 02:53Deal's done.BurningStorm wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 09:07 Seems like Dortmund will sell Füllkrug to West Ham After losing Reus and Hummels they really think it's a good idea to lose another real German guy who is popular in Dortmund? In other news, Dortmund signed the Brazilian right-back Yan Couto from ManCity, he was on loan at Girona in their fantastic season and made 10 assists (and 1 goal) in 34 games. Loan with an obligation to buy.
Guirassy will ge interesting. Probably be better for Germany then that Fullkrug doesn't get cemented into a bench role for club as well as country.BurningStorm wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 10:09I wouldn't say they need cash, but in his age (31) he doesn't want to be a bench player and after signing Guirassy it looked like it's either the bench or a new adventure.Lorric wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 02:53Deal's done.BurningStorm wrote: ↑Sat Aug 03, 2024 09:07 Seems like Dortmund will sell Füllkrug to West Ham After losing Reus and Hummels they really think it's a good idea to lose another real German guy who is popular in Dortmund? I think its the best sign in portuguese football ever.
SC Braga signs Ana Maria Markovic from Grasshoppers. If you think I am exaggerating just google her.

Brazilian-Portuguese Pepe has retired at the age of 41! Marítimo, Porto, Real Madrid (about 300 apps!), Beşiktaş and Porto again! Also 132 apps for Portugal (third-highest number of apps after Cristiano Ronaldo and João Moutinho)! I liked his close friendship with Cristiano Ronaldo!
An interesting transfer by Aris FC. They signed 19-year old Swedish GK Filip Sidklev for 5 years from IF Brommapojkarna (the Bromma boys). He had a full season with BP. Aris' only other GK is Spanish 33-year old Julián Cuesta (who has been playing for Aris for the past 6 years and is also the captain of the club), so I expect Sidklev to get some chances.
As I have mentioned several times, Aris FC always has a lot of foreign players in its squad; there are currently only three Greek ones for 2024-25.

Dutch CB Matthijs de Ligt to Manchester United. He has played for Ajax, Juventus and Bayern Munich. Also 45 apps for the Netherlands. Unbelievably, he is still 25 years old.

Marco Reus to LA Galaxy for 2,5 yrs.
Greek CB Konstantinos Koulierakis to VfL Wolfsburg. He is 21 years old and he has only played two full seasons with PAOK. His final matches with PAOK will be against Shamrock Rovers in EL-PO.

For a long time it looked like Eintracht Frankfurt will sign him, but it seems like Wolfsburg outbid them.
However, Eintracht have signed 24yo Belgium NT player Arthur Theate now, from Rennes, a loan with an option to buy. He is the replacement of Pacho, who joined PSG for 40m €.
Uruguayan 23-year old Facundo Pellistri to Panathinaikos. He has played for Peñarol, Manchester United, Alavés and Granada. He also has 26 apps for the Uruguay national team!
One of the most surprising transfers this summer, at least for me. Yuri Ribeiro SC Braga (free agent, formerly Legia).
It seems that they are desperate to have a left back as Bartłomiej Wdowik is not meeting the expectations apparently...

Olympiacos keep their best defender, David Carmo, previously on loan from Porto.
The owner has Forest buy him for 11M (+4M bonuses) and loan him to Olympiacos, in order to avoid FFP issues - British FFP has a loophole where you can split the sum in the 5 years of the player's contract, the same reason Chelsea did 9-year contracts to players.
Quite a smart logistical trick.
