"Eliminate 12" (new prediction game)

New prediction game!

- Not time consuming (you have to predict only once);
- Very easy to understand;
- Open to everyone.


You have to predict the 12 teams eliminated in every European competition (league stage) AND the teams finishing in the top 8 of CL, EL and ECL (league stage).


One team eliminated guessed correctly: 1 point
One team in the top eight guessed correctly: 1 point


So a maximum of 60 points available.

DEADLINE TO POST: Predictions are accepted until one minute before the official start of each competition.

So in theory you can do three separate posts at different times, because each competition starts at different days.


If for instance you write a post with predictions for all 3 cups after the start of the CL, only EL and the ECL will be considered.

Those long-term prediction games I like more. Though I guess at least 7 or 8 eliminated teams in each tournament are easy to predict, doubt that our predictions will differ much.

No, I definitely don't think they deserve another chance. Just a fleeting silly idea that came into my mind.

I don't know why i haven't thought about it yesterday, but let's predict also the top 8 teams of the league stage (CL, EL and ECL).

8 X 3 = 24 more points

It will lower the chance to have multiple winners at the end.

So 36 + 24 it will be a maximum of 60 points.

Done. Mostly put English and Spanish clubs in the top-8 in the main two tournaments, thats obvious. But I think I will be the only one who put Midtjylland in the top 8 in Europa. Will I get bonus points for such a mad prediction?

Apologies for missing this initially. I went back and edited my original post. Had to redo the whole prediction since I didn't save the original one . Funnily enough in my first one Vitória Guimarães was in bottom 12 but now it's in top 8
