Greek football is what the Colombian league must've looked like in Pablo Escobar's times.
And now the first ever Greek goal scored at Wembley by Pavlidis and the first ever win against England. What a week of mixed emotions.

Dellas suddenly resigned from OFI and his replacement will likely be Rastavac.
Savvas Pantelidis returns as a coach to Asteras Tripolis.

Volos - Panserraikos 0-1
Atromitos - Panaitolikos 0-2
Lamia - Asteras Tripolis 0-0
Olympiacos - Levadiakos 2-2
OFI - Panathinaikos 0-1
Aris - Kallithea 2-0
AEK - PAOK 1-1

Standings:

Aris..................5-2-1.....17
PAOK................5-2-1......17
AEK..................4-3-1.....15
Olympiacos.........4-3-1.....15
-----------------------------------------
Panaitolikos........4-2-2......14
Panathinaikos.....3-3-2......12
OFI..................3-2-3......11
Asteras Tripolis....2-4-2......10
-----------------------------------------
Atromitos..........2-2-4......8
Panserraikos.......2-1-5.....7
Volos................2-1-5.....7
Lamia...............1-3-4.....6
Kallithea...........0-5-3......5
Levadiakos........0-5-3......5

- AEK and PAOK drew 1-1 in the derby of the matchweek, with Baba and Pierot forming the final score early in the match.
- Aris is on top after their 4th win in a row against Kallithea at home, impressive comeback after the poor start.
- Olympiacos is a ticking timebomb to explode either with a coach change and player sackings, or violence. Or both, like last year. A home draw to bottom Levadiakos after blowing a 2-0 lead, a general show of weakness and inability to win matches and appear dominant.
- Panathinaikos returned to wins in Crete, Panaitolikos is flying very high while Atromitos and Asteras continue their poor results.

Panetolikos with the huuuge away win @ Atromitos climbs to 5th place, just 3 points off the top. :applause:

This was the 3rd consecutive win for the "canaries", who've beaten AEK and drew at Olympiakos.

The most sympathetic coach (person?) in the league, Giannis Petrakis, is just a little more than a year at the helm.
He's already created one great team (by Greek standards) before, at PAS Giannina from 2014 to 2019.

And now he seems to be leading the Agrinio team to a record finish (currently 7th place back in 14/15).

Panserraikos - AEK 1-0
Asteras Tripolis - Olympiacos 1-0

Olympiacos.........4-3-2.....15
-----------------------------------------
Panaitolikos........4-2-3......14

Asteras Tripolis....3-4-2......13
Panathinaikos.....3-4-2......13
-----------------------------------------
Atromitos..........3-2-4......11
Panserraikos.......3-1-5.....10
Volos................3-1-5.....10
Lamia...............1-4-4.....7
Levadiakos........0-6-3......6
Kallithea...........0-5-4......5

In the most insane matchday of the last decade probably, 3 of the big 4 lost to minnows and the with the 4th drawing against league leaders now (!) Aris!

- AEK on Saturday managed to lose to Panserraikos despite playing 11 v 10 for more than 1 hour. Their negative streak against the small clubs continues, and nobody should be surprised about their results given that last season they often got bailed out by referees (who they do not control anymore).
- Olympiacos managed yet again not to win in Greece after a European win. Asteras scored in the 1st half and like AEK, Olympiacos lost their chances - and could have conceded a second in counter-attacks of the dangerous home team. The red-and-whites get absoltely nothing from all their transfers this season and Mendilibar is lucky that the opponents return the gifts.
- PAOK had the change to go alone on top but suffered a shock defeat to OFI at home. Two quick goals in 77' and 79' gave a huge victory to the Cretan team and exposed PAOK's total inability to keep clean sheets (even more evident in Europe).
- Aris is alone on top after salvaging the draw in Athens. Panathinaikos took the lead early and had chances to finish the match, missed them, and league top scorer Loren Moron gave Aris a point. Panathinaikos completed their 4 derbies of the 1st round without a single win.
- Panaitolikos was the victim of suspicious refereeing against Volos and saw their streak end, Atromitos got a needed win and sank Kallithea to the bottom while the relegation local derby ended in a draw.

I read that this last happened 8 years (about 3,000 days) ago!

Diego Alonso is fired from Panathinaikos, and 6/14 of the clubs have changed their coach (Asteras twice, so 7 coach changes) in the first 2.5 months of the season!

He will be replaced by Rui Vitoria, a manager whose last good stint was with Benfica 7 years ago.

The percentage of teams who have changed coach is similar in the 2nd division (9/20) after just 6 matches.

Greek Cup R16, 1st leg:

Zakynthos(3) vs Asteras Tripolis 1-2
OFI vs Volos 3-1
Atromitos vs Panathinaikos postponed
Egaleo(2) vs PAOK 0-3
Kifisia(2) vs Panachaiki(2) 1-1
Kallithea vs Olympiacos 0-1
AEK vs Aris 1-0
Panserraikos vs Panionios(2) 2-0

Zero upsets, infamous elite (hahaha) referee Sidiropoulos stole the show by refusing to expel AEK GK Brignoli after he kicked an Aris player in the head and showed why foreign referees referee all League derbies.

It seems to be an exciting season [for a change], with Aris doing well and the Big-4 chasing them! The same for this season's Cup!
