San Marino to host 2025 Regions' Cup finals
Wednesday, December 18, 2024
San Marino will host the 2025 UEFA Regions' Cup finals in late June and early July.
The San Marino Football Federation (FSCG) will be sole hosts of a UEFA final tournament for the first time, though they did stage three games in the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, shared with Italy. The exact dates and venues for the matches and draw will be confirmed.
One of two associations that enter a national rather than regional team in UEFA’s amateur competition, by topping their intermediate round group they became the first San Marino side to earn a place in any UEFA final tournament. They will be joined in San Marino by fellow intermediate round group winners Aragón (Spain), Dolnośląski Region (Poland), FA of Vojvodina (Serbia), Hradec Králové (Czechia), Länsi-Vantaan Ylpeys (Finland), Rijeka (Croatia) and Vaud (Switzerland).

2025 European football calendar: Match and draw dates for all UEFA competitions
2025 European football calendar: Match and draw dates for all UEFA competitions
Suprisingly the U19 EURO is being held from 13 to 26 June, simultaneously with the U21 EURO from 11 to 28 June.
Previously it's always been held in July.
Previously it's always been held in July.
I assume to not overlap with the Women's Euro in July. So UEFA will have 3 tournaments simultaneously being held in June: the men's U21, the men's U19, and the women's U19.Tazmania wrote: Wed Jan 01, 2025 17:25 Suprisingly the U19 EURO is being held from 13 to 26 June, simultaneously with the U21 EURO from 11 to 28 June.

And for odd-numbered years, the men's U19 Euro is not used for qualifying for U20 WC, so it is slightly less important. But the women's U19 Euro is used for qualifying for the 2026 U20 WWC.
Ah yes, it must not to clash with the Women's EURO.
Thanks.
Thanks.

2024/25 club monitoring: CFCB takes decision in respect of Olympique Lyonnais
Monday, February 3, 2025
Club Financial Control
The CFCB First Chamber has confirmed Olympique Lyonnais’s compliance with the going concern principle in the framework of the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League.
The UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) First Chamber has confirmed that Olympique Lyonnais (FRA) is in compliance with the going concern principle in the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League.
In December 2024, the CFCB First Chamber found that Olympique Lyonnais’ 2024 financial statements failed to comply with the core underlying principle of going concern. Consequently, the CFCB First Chamber decided to disqualify Olympique Lyonnais from 2024/25 UEFA club competitions unless it submitted by 30 January 2025 the said financial statements with a clean audit opinion from its auditors, i.e. without disclaimer, adverse or qualified opinion, in respect of going concern.
Olympique Lyonnais has taken the necessary actions and has fulfilled the condition imposed by the CFCB within the set deadline. Accordingly, the CFCB First Chamber has decided that the conditional disqualification will not take effect.
The CFCB First Chamber will now proceed to carefully monitor Olympique Lyonnais’ compliance with the financial sustainability requirements in accordance with the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Regulations.

Team era over as Relevent enters exclusive Uefa talks
Team Marketing is set to lose its historic Uefa club competitions business after Relevent Sports Group entered into an exclusive period of negotiation for the 2027-33 cycle in a hammer blow to the Switzerland-based agency.

It would be a significant shift if its true, not least because in the 2024-27 cycle Relevant guaranteed an amount to UEFA for the USA media rights while TEAM Marketing have always operated on a commission-basis.
