Round 13
October 26: Liberec - Slovácko 4:0 (Att: 2 345)
October 26: Pardubice - Ostrava 2:3 (Att: 3 326)
October 26: České Budějovice - Hradec Králové 0:2 (Att: 1 985)
October 26: Olomouc - Jablonec 0:0 (Att: 3 120)
October 27: Teplice - Bohemians 1:2 (Att: 4 115)
October 27: Slavia Praha - Dukla Praha 3:0 (Att: 18 402)
October 27: Mladá Boleslav - Karviná 1:1 (Att: 1 490)
October 27: Plzeň - Sparta Praha 1:0 (Att: 11 620)

Highlights of this round:
- Slavia won easily their home match against Dukla despite by far not playing their best possible football. Dukla had some chances, hit the crossbar, but overall Slavia dominated and their win is deserved.
- Sparta failed in their second big league match of the season. After losing the Prague derby they lost in Plzeň and also this result is deserved, Plzeň was the better team, their coach Koubek claiming that Plzeň played maybe their best match of the season. Sparta drops to N3, nine points behind Slavia and their title chances are diminishing.
- Baník Ostrava needed a 90+9' game winning goal to get a win in Pardubice. It was not very convincing from them, but they are now just four points behind Sparta, who they face next weekend. Pardubice sacked their coach Saňák after the match.
- Roman West of Slovácko is another sacked coach. Slovácko lost in Liberec after playing an hour in 10 men and despite Slovácko being firmly in the middle pack of the league (and not really a squad capable of much more), West had to go.
- České Budějovice are doomed. They did not play that bad against Hradec but conceded in added time of both halfs and once again failed to score. With just three scored goals in 12 matches and one point, they turn out to be one of the worst teams in the history of czech league. After the match, fans announced they will boycott the rest of the autumn matches, because the owner sent security guards to handle them after they started chanting against the owner.
- Five draws in a row made Mladá Boleslav to fall to N12, Andreas Brännström having a rough time after becoming their coach two months ago.

Round 14
November 2: Dukla Praha - Mladá Boleslav 0:1 (Att: 1 768)
November 2: Jablonec - Teplice 3:0 (Att: 2 275)
November 2: Karviná - Olomouc 2:1 (Att: 2 114)
November 2: Sparta Praha - Ostrava 1:3 (Att: 17 610)
November 3: České Budějovice - Liberec 0:0 (Att: 2 045)
November 3: Bohemians - Pardubice 0:0 (Att: 5 019)
November 3: Slovácko - Plzeň 1:0 (Att: 4 854)
November 3: Hradec Králové - Slavia Praha 1:1 (Att: 9 300)

Highlights of this round:
- Neither of the top 3 teams won this round! Slavia still helped themselves a little bit as they at least drew in Hradec Králové. Not a bad match from Slavia but Hradec played very well and the draw was sort of deserved.
- Plzeň lost at Slovácko, this was also a pretty even match and Plzeň was maybe a bit unlucky, the only goal was a header after a set piece.
- Sparta is in shambles, they deservedly lost to Ostrava at home, even after scoring a controversial goal to go 1-0 ahead. But Banik scored from two penalties, added another goal and got to 3,14 expected goals. There are rumours that Sparta's serbian star Birmančević is in conflict with two new players from Kosovo Rrahmani and Krasniqi, there are also two albanian players in the squad. Hardcore fans of Sparta put out a banner after the match with support for Birmančević with serbian flags hinting at Kosovo being part of Serbia, which infuriated the Kosovo players. Birmančević is now reportedly injured and not expected to play until the end of the autumn season and then he probably needs to be transfered as the situation has probably no other good solution for the club. It is now a 10 point gap between Sparta and leading Slavia.
- Jablonec moves to N5 with a convincing win against Teplice and surely is a european cups contender.
- Liberec on the other hand is in bad shape, only a point in České Budějovice combined with an elimination from the czech cup sees them unlikely to compete for european cups this season.
- Karviná moves to N7 and continues to impress the league under the coach Martin Hyský who has connections to Slavia (was their B squad coach and then coach of Vlašim which served as the farm club to Slavia in the second tier)

Round 15
November 9: Ostrava - Dukla Praha 6:0 (Att: 8 798)
November 9: Liberec - Hradec Králové 0:0 (Att: 2 446)
November 9: Pardubice - Jablonec 2:0 (Att: 2 107)
November 10: Teplice - České Budějovice 5:2 (Att: 2 352)
November 10: Plzeň - Bohemians 2:0 (Att: 8 825)
November 10: Mladá Boleslav - Sparta Praha 2:2 (Att: 4 868)
November 10: Slavia Praha - Karviná 5:1 (Att: 19 299)
postponed: Olomouc - Slovácko

Highlights of this round:
- Slavia returned to winning with a dominant win at home against Karviná. Fans presented a whole-stadium choreography, Mojmír Chytil scored a hattrick from the bench, everything still looks fine for Slavia.
- Plzeň also won comfortably at home against Bohemians, the result was never in doubt, Plzeň scored early and lead 2-0 already at halftime.
- Sparta on the other hand remains in deep misery, dropping another two points in Mladá Boleslav despite leading 1-0 and 2-1. Sparta is now 12 points behind Slavia, 4 points behind Plzeň and fell behind Baník Ostrava as well!
- Ostrava destroyed Dukla with six goals, Ewerton scored twice. It remains a question whether Ostrava will be able to keep consistency in their performances.
- Pardubice started to climb up under new coach and are now in contact with Teplice and Dukla while Budějovice remain doomed.
- Olomouc - Slovácko was postponed due to thick fog. The match will take place November 27.

Round 16
November 23: Jablonec - Ostrava 3:1 (Att: 2 863)
November 23: Slovácko - Mladá Boleslav 1:1 (Att: 3 219)
November 23: Sparta Praha - Teplice 1:1 (Att: 15 879)
November 23: Hradec Králové - Plzeň 0:1 (Att: 6 005)
November 24: Bohemians - Dukla Praha 3:1 (Att: 5 112)
November 24: Karviná - Pardubice 1:0 (Att: 1 519)
November 24: České Budějovice - Slavia Praha 0:4 (Att: 6 681)
November 24: Olomouc - Liberec 1:4 (Att: 2 915)

Round 15
November 27: Olomouc - Slovácko 2:1 (Att: 2 836)

Highlights of this round:
- Slavia won easily without even having to play well as České Budějovice gifted them two handball penalties.
- Plzeň won a tough and even match in Hradec Králové with a late goal by center back Sampson Dweh and is still 8 points behind Slavia
- Sparta dropped further down with another humiliating result, this time a home draw against Teplice despite going 1-0 up.
- Liberec finally starts to look good, decisive win away in Olomouc with a hattrick by Denis Višinský.
- The league is in half of its regular season and the title race seems to be just between Slavia and Plzeň now, with Slavia having a clear upper hand with 8 points lead.
- Sparta will have a tough way to get even to N2. Anything less then a CL Q2 spot would be seen as nearly a disaster for club which dominated last season.
- České Budějovice are very likely doomed already.

Round 17
November 30: Bohemians - Slovácko 3:3 (Att: 4 305)
November 30: Teplice - Olomouc 1:0 (Att: 2 128)
November 30: Ostrava - Karviná 2:1 (Att: 9 014)
November 30: Dukla Praha - Sparta Praha 1:1 (Att: 6 992)
December 1: Slavia Praha - Liberec 1:0 (Att: 17 969)
December 1: Mladá Boleslav - Hradec Králové 3:0 (Att: 1 390)
December 1: Pardubice - České Budějovice 0:0 (Att: 3 268)
December 1: Plzeň - Jablonec 3:2 (Att: 6 084)

Highlights of this round:
- Slavia is not playing as well as a month or so ago but still was able to defeat Liberec at home with a single goal.
- Plzeň had to perform an epic comeback, after being 0-2 down at halftime, three halftime substitions and a stupid red card for Jablonec helped them to win the match 3-2.
- Baník Ostrava needed a late goal by Ewerton despite totally dominating Karviná for most of the match. In the end, Ostrava succeeded and won this local derby 2-1.
- Sparta did not win a single match the whole November and ended this brutal month with another heartbreaking draw after conceding with the last kick of the match. Lars Friis stays as their coach for now but is almost sure to be fired in the winter break. Sparta collapsed after qualifying for the CL league phase.
- Mladá Boleslav finally starts winning after long series of draws and in the packed middle of the table it is enough to move up the rankings.
- České Budějovice won their third point in the league after surviving in Pardubice, but since Pardubice are their closest competitor, this is obviously not enough and they are probably even more doomed than before this match.

Round 8
December 3: Sparta Praha - Karviná 4:1 (Att: 10 788)
December 4: Pardubice - Olomouc 2:2 (Att: 2 475)
December 4: Dukla Praha - Slovácko 1:2 (Att: 575)
December 4: Jablonec - České Budějovice 5:0 (Att: 2 026)
December 4: Bohemians - Hradec Králové 0:3 (Att: 3 035)
December 5: Mladá Boleslav - Liberec 1:0 (Att: 1 468)
December 5: Ostrava - Slavia Praha 0:1 (Att: 14 659)
December 5: Plzeň - Teplice 1:1 (Att: 5 193)

Highlights of this round:
- this whole round was postponed due to heavy floods in September.
- In the most consequential match, Slavia won in Ostrava quite deservedly. The only goal was scored by left wingback Diouf in the first half and Slavia then defended well and did not allow much.
- Plzeň suffered a heavy drop of two points. After playing almost 50 minuted against ten men and leading 1:0 since 67', Teplice were able to equalize from the last kick of the match in 90+4'. Therefore, Slavia leads the league by 10 points already and even though the league is just in its half, it is almost inconceivable for them not to win it this time.
- Sparta finally won again, at home against Karviná. It was enough to move back to N3 one point ahead of Baník Ostrava, however Sparta is 16 points behind Slavia and their problems are definitely not over. There is a lot of work to be done in the winter break.
- Jablonec destroyed České Budějovice with 4 goals inside the first half an hour. They surely look like a european cups contender this season.
- Mladá Boleslav won second match in a row with a late free kick goal by Ladra and suddenly they are in top 6 again.
- Olomouc lost the top scorer of the league Jan Kliment to a season ending injury and conceded in the added time to gain just a draw in Pardubice.

Round 18
December 7: Slovácko - Pardubice 1:1 (Att: 3 509)
December 7: Jablonec - Dukla Praha 2:1 (Att: 1 833)
December 7: Sparta Praha - Bohemians 1:0 (Att: 14 777)
December 8: České Budějovice - Mladá Boleslav 0:4 (Att: 2 382)
December 8: Karviná - Plzeň 1:2 (Att: 2 438)
December 8: Olomouc - Slavia Praha 1:2 (Att: 11 364)
December 8: Liberec - Teplice 3:0 (Att: 1 719)
December 8: Hradec Králové - Ostrava 0:1 (Att: 5 972)

Highlights of this round:
- all four top teams won but neither win was very convincing. Slavia was 1-0 down even fifteen minutes before the end of the match, but Chorý equalized and soon after that Provod scored the game winning goal to keep Slavia 10 points ahead of Plzeň and 16 points ahead of Sparta.
- Plzeň was also 1-0 down in Karviná at 75', Šulc however turned the match around with a brace.
- Sparta wasn't arguably even the better team at home against Bohemians, but was able to score and then survived several chances by Bohemians.
- Ostrava was mostly outplayed by Hradec Králové and even after a red card for Hradec at the end of the first half the match was pretty much even. Towards the end, Ostrava scored and got very valuable three points.
- Nothing major happening at the bottom of the standings.

Round 19
December 14: Dukla Praha - Hradec Králové 1:2 (Att: 1 285)
December 14: Pardubice - Liberec 1:1 (Att: 2 153)
December 14: Bohemians - Karviná 3:3 (Att: 3 581)
December 14: Ostrava - Slovácko 3:1 (Att: 6 855)
December 15: Sparta Praha - Jablonec 2:1 (Att: 15 963)

December 15: Teplice - Slavia Praha 1:0 (Att: 9 124)
December 15: Plzeň - České Budějovice 7:2 (Att: 5 820)

Highlights of this round:
- This was the last round of the autumn part of the season, now a winter break takes place and the league will restart on the first weekend of February.
- Slavia lost for the first time this season, somewhat unexpectedly in Teplice. On the other hand, Teplice are well known to be a problem against stronger teams, both Sparta and Plzeň lost some points in matches against Teplice this season as well.
- Plzeň completely destroyed poor České Budějovice, which are simply the worst team ever to play the league after splitting Czechoslovakia. Jan Kopic scored a hattrick.
- Sparta needed a turnaround, they were 0-1 down at halftime, but then scored two goals and achieved nine points in their last three matches in the autumn part of the season, all of them at home.
- Baník won against Slovácko despite being not very convincing and needing some top class saves by their goalkeeper Markovič.

Sorry to ask a personal question. We'll be in Prague the 2nd weekend of February and plan to see 2 games
Sparta - Hradec Králové
Dukla - Karviná

For Sparta I already got the tickets, which involved having to download an app to buy them through. I have the tickets, but when I view them I don't see any QR code, shouldn't I have one or is that only available on the day?

For Dukla I couldn't see a way to buy multiple tickets together and looking at their stadium size, league performance and average attendance this looks like we can just buy them on the day, no?

Sorry, I haven't been here for a while so I couldn't answer this question... In general, unless Dukla plays Slavia or Sparta, there is no problem in acquiring tickets on gameday.

February 1: Liberec - Ostrava 0:1 (Att: 3 308)
February 1: České Budějovice - Dukla Praha 0:0 (Att: 2 252)
February 1: Hradec Králové - Pardubice 3:0 (Att: 6 199)
February 2: Slovácko - Sparta Praha 0:2 (Att: 8 000)
February 2: Jablonec - Bohemians 0:1 (Att: 2 105)
February 2: Slavia Praha - Mladá Boleslav 1:0 (Att: 16 109)
February 3: Olomouc - Plzeň 2:1 (Att: 3 485)

Highlights of this round:
- Slavia won despite playing an underwhelming match. Mladá Boleslav wasn't able to create much and one rather random goal was enough for Slavia to secure three points
- Plzeň shockingly lost at Olomouc, which returns the gap between top two teams to massive 10 points. Plzeň lead but then conceded two set pieces goals.
- Sparta won comfortably with the help of Slovácko's goalkeeper Borek who blundered several times.
- The story of the matchday was however the match Liberec - Ostrava, where Ewerton scored the only goal inside the first minute and then in the next minute, Liberec's players fouled three times in a sequence of 20 seconds, with two of those fouls warranting red cards, yet none of those three fouls was actually blown by the ref. VAR intervened but only one player was sent off which was deemed to be as large a mistake as was the main ref's one not seeing any of those fouls.

Round 21
February 8: Mladá Boleslav - Teplice 2:1 (Att: 1 037)
February 8: Pardubice - Slavia Praha 0:2 (Att: 4 620)
February 8: Plzeň - Liberec 3:2 (Att: 7 398)
February 9: Ostrava - Olomouc 1:0 (Att: 10 039)
February 9: Jablonec - Slovácko 4:2 (Att: 1 892)
February 9: Bohemians - České Budějovice 1:0 (Att: 5 048)
February 9: Sparta Praha - Hradec Králové 3:0 (Att: 15 099)
postponed: Dukla Praha - Karviná

Highlights of this round:
- Slavia won another match which was not very pretty but the other team wasn't able to create anything. Slavia produced 33 shots but only a few of them were huge chances.
- Sparta won easily at home and seems to be on good track to a big fight with Plzeň for the second place, Slavia still leads the pack very comfortably.
- Plzeň won but it was a huge scandal. It was 2-2 when VAR intervened in 74' to sent off Liberec's goalkeeper, this was a correct decision. Pretty much the same thing happened on the other side nine minutes later, when Marković as a last man clearly fouled Krolis, but he was awarded only a yellow card and VAR did not intervene here. Two minutes later Marković scored the game winning goal. The VAR ref is rumoured to be banned for the rest of the season with the main ref also facing some weeks out.
- Karviná has an infectious disease in their squad, so their match at Dukla was postponed.

- Budějovice had two players sent off in the first half but still managed to score two goals with nine men on the field. It was for nothing however and Jablonec won anyway
- Pardubice and Dukla look almost certain to play in the relegation playoff while Budějovice are doomed.

Round 23
February 22: Dukla Praha - Olomouc 1:3 (Att: 1 021)
February 22: Ostrava - Teplice 2:0 (Att: 7 228)
February 22: Pardubice - Mladá Boleslav 0:3 (Att: 1 467)
February 22: Sparta Praha - České Budějovice 2:1 (Att: 14 955)
February 23: Bohemians - Liberec 0:0 (Att: 5 321)

February 23: Plzeň - Slavia Praha 1:3 (Att: 11 113)
postponed: Slovácko - Hradec Králové

Highlights of this round:
- Slavia basically sealed the title with a win in Plzeň, the hero of the match was ex-Plzeň striker Chorý who scored twice. Slavia is 13 points clear at the top of the standings and some betting companies even started to pay off the bets on Slavia's title despite 12 matches left to play.
- Sparta wasted an incredible amount of chances and won only 2-1 against České Budějovice, but the result was never in doubt.
- Ostrava remains in the run for the second or third place, still four points behind Sparta and Plzeň
- Jablonec emerged as the other likely european cups contender, but Olomouc and Mladá Boleslav are not out of the race yet.
- Nothing new at the bottom, Pardubice, Dukla and Budějovice are very poor this spring.

JohnHarts wrote: Wed Jan 22, 2025 18:20 Sorry to ask a personal question.

Belated thanks for this. The Dukla game was postponed in the end so we only went to Sparta.
