Champions League 2011 Qualifying - Champions Path
Champions League 2011 Qualifying - Champions Path
Separate thread for CL CH path, for first three rounds (Q1, Q2, Q3).
I prefer to have distinguished discussions (as we have last year) between competitions, without need to have separate threads for every round. Therefore i opened a new thread, which i believe is more systematic.
Starting with draw for Q1 and Q2 today.

So I want good draws for Sturm and Neftci and they wind up with 2 of the toughest chances. How bloody typical.
Maribor, Malmo and APOEL have fallen on their feet. If they dont get to Round 3, they might as well give up.

This first round is here to let people worry Tre Fiori will win the Champions League.
Quote from the EL thread:
If you can't buy tickets through Neftchi's service (in Baki or where you come from, visitors should receive some amount of tickets), then i assume it won't be a problem to buy a ticket at the stadium.
For the most attractive events lately there is a practice that tickets are available ONLY through internet sales (matches as big NT clashes), but for less attractive matches (league matches) tickets are still sold in old-fashioned way, at the stadium.
Surely stadium won't be full for Neftchi, and i assume that tickets will be sold at the stadium.
I may provide additional informations later, at the moment i do not know much.
I found no data about tickets for Neftchi. Probably not printed yet.bugylibicska wrote:Dzomba,
I see you`re from Zagreb. Is it possible to buy a ticket for the game against Neftchi Baki just by dropping in the last day or one has to be a cardholder (season ticket holder I assume) like at many other teams in Europe. What`s your take on the game?

well i guess the scottish referee was "too worried" that tre fiori would win the cl.Michael S Collins wrote:This first round is here to let people worry Tre Fiori will win the Champions League.
the first 2 goals in possible offside, the 3rd with a penalty for a "light touch" on the maltese player and a gigantic penalty not given to tre fiori in the final minutes.
now, tre fiori already knew they would be eliminated before yesterday's game, and i'm not saying the the ref should "help" them, but at least be freaking fair!

p.s. the scottish uefa delegate didn't let the uefa cl anthem play("only from the groups on, it's the rules!"). fine. but let me tell you that in 90% of qualification matches uefa delegates close an eye about that. (well, ears in this case)
