Real Madrid vs Olympiacos. A comfortable win for Real Madrid.
Panathinaikos vs Fenerbahçe. Big win for Pana BC and they are in the final after 13 years!

The final (Pana vs Real Madrid) is on the 26th. These clubs also finished in the top two positions after the regular season.
According to the bookies, Real Madrid is the favourite.
After 1st quarter and a few seconds, Madrid has 12 points advantage.
Panathinaikos recovering well.
1 minute after break and it's only 54-52

Panathinaikos stopped Real Madrid in 2nd quarter to smash them in 2nd half and they are European Champions again:
Real Madrid 80-95 Panathinaikos

The accident just killed the race since they didn't want to stop again and kept running in a low pace. Still they gave a lap to almost everybody and 2 laps to a lot of drivers!

Only point of interest was possible free stop for Norris but as we saw with Verstappen, a slower car in Monaco can held a faster one. Now into Indianapolis.
Though I love Charles finally winning his home gp, the race was a killer for the sport. Driving extremely slow upfront (5-6 seconds per round slower as they normally would) and getting away with it is horrible.
Last 3 races Ferrari won (sainz 2x and now leclerc) all were won tactically with driving slower as possible knowing that passing couldn’t be done. Lando won on speed. I don’t see Ferrari fighting on speed circuits for the win, while McLaren and Max will.

Unbelievable Magnussen got nothing for the incident. And when not from F1, then from Haas themselves. He is a very costly driver like this

Next one Canada. I hope Piastry will win…

Yeah, that's a complete farce. I can accept it if people can't pass but you need to be driving hard in order to make that happen, because at least then you have the course factor, you can be impressed by what the driver's doing and people will crash due to the difficulty level of the course. But you get none of that if they can just ease off and hold their positions. You might as well just have the qualifying, then the start, then bring out the chequered flag, then bring out the Monaco Historic cars for the rest of the day.

If the front cars were driving slowly, what to say about the cars below 7th that all were lapped or the cars behind 11th that were lapped twice? If only front car was driving slowly, the pack would stick together.

Pushing hard, well Verstappen did it after pit stops with zero consequence. Piastri tried for the beginning but get nothing.
The question is that in Monaco track position is everything so after the red flag and the change of tyres drivers on hard tires and russell just wanted to get till the end without stopping. And you can't get too close the next car for a lot of laps or your tires will get hot and degrade. Monaco is what it is. This years was worse thanks to red flag.

Yesterday was full of shitty races. Indy 500 delayed around 3hours due to weather than crashes in turn 1, after the restart, after the 2nd restart, Honda engines blowing up... fight for victory was good and Kyle Larson was doing good until sppeding in pit lane.

Coke 600 was more a coke 400 since more than 200 miles weren't run due also to bad weather. Kyle Larson arrived just when race was stopped. They managed to dry the track but was around 1.30 am and curfew laws force to end what should be longest race of the season, and prevented the double for Kyle Larson that now will need a go from Nascar to go to playoffs (per regulations to compete in playoffs you must race at every race).

I also want Piastri to get a win, he is the most likeable driver of the grid.

June 1, Newark, New Jersey: Makhachev - Poirier, Strickland - Costa, Almeida - Romanov, Dolidze - A.Hernandez (good card with Makhachev who'll fight Poirier after today's results - both Gaethje and Oliveira were beaten)

Haven't seen this card while travelling. Makhachev made Poirier tap in the 5th round, no surprise here. Strickland beat Costa by a split decision in a dull fight. Almeida submitted Romanov with a rear-naked choke in the 1st round. Dolidze - A.Hernandez fight was canceled.

Amazing pole position for George Russell today. Impressive, with the sane time as Max Verstappen (0,000s diff).

Ferrari in 11th and 12th, Perez in Q1!

June 8, Las Vegas: poor card

Well, quite a few interesting fights. Imavov beat Cannonier in the 4th round by TKO, a bit of a controversial, early stoppage by the ref, Reyes knocked out Jacoby in the very 1st round, Rosas Jr. submitted Turcios in the 2nd round, Brunno Ferreira knocked out Stolzfus with a spinning back elbow in the 1st round and Reese knocked out Marquez in 20 seconds.

Fight to be "the first of the losers" as Enzo Ferrari liked to say.
I think Verstappen has built a gap too large for the others, when he is under pressure he rarely commit a mistake, unlike his competitors. When his car is not so dominant you better appreciate his big talent.

There might be a 3-way fight for the construction championship though, Perez form is atrocious at the moment.

Norris is not fighting for 2nd, far from it.
Yesterday he got the reverse of safety car, when in the other race he took advantage, in this he lost the race do to it. Its racing. Btw, Red Bull being unsportsmanlike in defeat and in victory.

They tried to do a overcut and even at pit exit he tried to push knowing he would not go far, because he had cold tires. He is battling Max Verstappen, with inferior machinery. Makes me remember when Max was trying to break Hamilton's dominance before 2021. And it took a lot more time for Red Bull to make a winning car than McLaren, with smaller budget.

So this "first of the losers" couldn't be more wrong. The real losers were watching it from the tv's on pit lane after a pathetic weekend. Worst team this weekend, worse than Haas, Sauber or Williams.

What did Red Bull do?

Are you saying Norris is going for 1st? Even if he starts beating Max, isn't Max's lead too great to overhaul?
