The Oilers finally beat the Panthers in Edmonton 8:1 and avoided the clean sweep. Next game in Florida on Tuesday.
Every year there are reports of tv audiences getting lower and lower.
A year ago it looked like there was kind of a plan to change the revenue structure so be similar to NFL and turn the league more competitive, but had the opposition of the players who get most of the revenue. Looks like everything is still the same, because the articles keep complaining about same things.
Still lots of people attending with such high ticket prices.

Ferrari won Le Mans again, back to back.
What a race, what a f.. race! Until the last breathe, the last fume of gas. Wow. 4 makes entering last hour fighting for victory, Ferrari #50 has to stop before time because a door was open. When they stopped for the last time they had fuel for only 12 laps but Nicklas Nielsen manage to do 14 laps and win the race with 2% energy remaining. Perfect strategy, almost perfect race!
Toyota second again, can't win when there is competition, Ferrari 3rd, Porsche 4th.
United Autosport won again in LMP2, Porsche in GT3.

I don't really follow the NHL, but now the Oilers in the final you cannot avoid the news here. Edmonton has just over a million population and the arena accommodate less than 20 thousand people. that's less than 2% of the population. The tickets range from $400 to $14,000, but the scalpers raise the prices to the sky. There're enough fans who can afford to pay, though mostly the big corporations purchase the most expensive tickets.

The articles I was reading was about NHL as a whole and audiences and media coverage in both countries at national level. For locals makes sense such high engagement even with such absolutely absurd prices. But in my previous post I was writing about NHL tickets prices in general (don't know if in NBA or NFL regular season the prices are similar or not).

Anyone recovered from 0-3 to win 4-3 in the finals?

Yes. In 1942 the Toronto Maple Leafs against the Detroit Red Wings.

Rugby union. England went to Tokyo and crushed Japan 17-52. Great preparation for two away tests against the All Blacks.

One year ago I said that I saw more raw potential in Piastri, that I thought would be World Champion than Norris.
Not only Piastri didn't confirmed so far what is expected from him but Norris has been presenting solid performances, so yes. And I m very happy to see McLaren back again to top, it was the team I cheered for until I made my peace with Ferrari.

une 22, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Whittaker - Chimaev, Pavlovich - Volkov, Fakhretdinov - Dalby, Gastelum - D.Rodriguez, Shara Magomedov - Potieria
(Chimaev's finally back!)
As we know Chimaev became ill and replaced by Aliskerov and he was knocked out by Whittaker in the very 1st round, Volkov surprisingly beat Pavlovich with unanimous decision, Fakhretdinov won against Dalby with split decision, Gastelum beat D.Rodriguez with unanimous decision and Shara Magomedov knocked out Trocoli in the 3rd round who replaced Potieria.
