Best edition as far as I can remember. A lot of good songs and only 3 I really hated (France, Moldova and Serbia). Manneskin with another great song.

Portugal with good classification so far. Usually we fall with people's vote. Italy having goid voting after a win.

Aside from Ukraine, only Spain, Serbia and Moldova were favoured over us.

Does this mean we can all be friends now, people of Europe?

Low voting from people. Serbia has surprising vote.
And Ukraine votes aren't all due to war. Their song is good, they were among favourite in early february and got good votes from jury.

President Zelensky has congratulated Kalush Orchestra on their win for Ukraine.

"Our courage impresses the world, our music conquers Europe," he wrote on Telegram.

"We will do our best to one day host the participants and guests of Eurovision in Ukrainian Mariupol. Free, peaceful, rebuilt," he added.

Ridiculousness, Ukraine got 94% of the total possible points of the televote. Everyone gave them 12 except 8 countries that gave them 10, 2 countries that gave them 8 and Serbia that gave them 7.

Also, the thing with Serbia getting 4-5 12 points from ex-Yugoslav countries and Switzerland (diaspora) every time is utterly ridiculous. Serbia, Russia and Turkey (diaspora for them, not neighbours) were the reason a jury was introduced.

This was a pity/support win for Ukraine, which is unfair to all the other artists.

I'm happy that the UK and Spain finished that high.

Probably Spain would have won it, because you finished only 7 points above them, and they beat you in televote. Thus if you take Ukraine out, Spain would earn more than 7 points (8->10 and 10->12) than the UK.

Contest is over already. Only remaining question: will Ukraine get 12 points from all countries or will there be a few exceptions?

Probably Spain would have won it, because you finished only 7 points above them, and they beat you in televote. Thus if you take Ukraine out, Spain would earn more than 7 points (8->10 and 10->12) than the UK.

If you take Ukraine out as a non-starter this year, you can start with Ukrainian votes: UK 19, Spain 1. So another clue that like Spain are the real winners.
