Personally, I wouldn't. Wining a Champions league game is something special. Especially in our case where one of our wins is against Liverpool, who won CL that year. No one would trade that kind of win for no matter how many draws.

I totally agree with you, 2-1-8 is much better than 0-7-4, and it should be the Brugges and Galatasarays and Olympiakos and Genks and Lilles that should be envious of Red Star's results, not the opposite.

Coming back to the game, Real was undoubtely the better team in the first .. 80 minutes but allowed Paris to come back to the game because of a lack of concentration. The midfield of Real who was so much in trouble in the first game this time totally outclassed the one from PSG. Without a good Keylor Navas it could have been much worse for Paris.
Otherwise, great goal of Sarabia who is a not really a starter when everybody is fit, but I presume that many are happy for him as his integration within the squad and his determination when he plays are unblamable.

They changed that from 2015/16 season onwards, so it has been working like that for five seasons (including the current one).

They changed that from 2015/16 season onwards, so it has been working like that for five seasons (including the current one).

Wow, that's a long time. Thanks. I don't like it though. I liked it before, winner take all or split it between. Now, it's winner take all, but if it's a draw, UEFA gets a third of the money.

That is not true, the remaining money gets redistributed to the teams proportionally to number of wins in their group stage matches.
So in fact if there is nonzero number of draws in a season, win = more than 2.7M Eur in the end.

That third part is not taken by UEFA but redistributed to the clubs playing in GS, proportionate to their number of wins. It's €900,000 per draw, last season there were 24 draws in GS, so a total amount of €21.6m should have been redistributed. So the winners take even more and the draws are worth even less.

I just checked the current prize money allocation and am glad to see the market pool got so much smaller. This was always the most unfair part of the whole money distribution.

Every matchday there are 2 matches at 18.55 CET. First choise is for countries which have CET+2 or more. And if that are less then 2, then just some other matches are selected for 18.55.
