Do the Youth teams travel together with the Senior teams to away matches? otherwise I do not see any reason for this setup anymore. There should be an official ranking for YCL
I suppose they do travel together? Perhaps it doesn't matter for the big clubs, but for the small clubs (like Sheriff Tiraspol) it would certainly be beneficial logistically.

It will be interesting to see if the UYL group stage will follow the UCL group stage after the 2024-25 expansion.

I don't know about other teams, but once upon a time, many, many years ago (2016 ;)) two Legia teams traveled together to away matches in CL/YL.

Do you have a North / South setup too?
Yes , pretty much. For the regular season, teams are divided into 4 groups, more or less based on geographical criteria.

The 4 group winners are qualifed for the Final 4 and the winner is declared champion.
Don't forget to post your predictions for the new season

Thanks. So how big are the groups? I'm curious, as it's 26 teams involved for us, 13 each. The clubs with the highest grade academies. Wonder how many are in the running for you, if you know.

UEFA.com has a mistake here.

Csikszereda isn't a debutant. :nono:

They played in 2021/2022 and lost twice against Angers in round 1, aggregate score 0-5.

And Panathinaikos is a debutant. :umnik:

It seems that some regional splitting was applied here and group A is therefore much stronger than the other groups with 6 nations either in top15 or fighting for it represented.

I hope UEFA creates a UEFA Youth Ranking asap to distribute teams fairly. It doesn't make sense, Bundesliga have 5 team or Serie A have 4 teams, despite not winning it (or reaching a final) ever.
