England are the top seed that didn't get a bye. Israel, Georgia (host), Lithuania. The first two have at times been significantly better in youth competition than their senior teams, especially Georgia, but looking at those names, surely we have to be happy with this draw. The coefficients also say Israel and Lithuania were two of the strongest in their pot.
No real group of death, perhaps 6 and 7 the toughest.
I see Scotland managed to get into the top pot, the bottom team in it.

Jack-pot for Cyprus, Russia's expulsion effectively sends them to the 2nd round, because if I recall correctly Gibraltar is very weak in youth levels.Lorric wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 17:31 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_UE ... lification

Yes, you're hosting as well. Should be no problem. Gibraltar joint bottom with Malta on 0.000.Firnen wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 17:55Jack-pot for Cyprus, Russia's expulsion effectively sends them to the 2nd round, because if I recall correctly Gibraltar is very weak in youth levels.Lorric wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 17:31 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_UE ... lification

England beat Norway 3-0 in a friendly.
England beat the Czechs 3-0 in a friendly. Prior to that in June, they lost 1-2 to the US.
England played Norway again and they got revenge, beating us 2-1.
Don't know what the hell happened, but England got smashed 5-0 by Poland!
Poland youth teams are getting involved in weird matches!

England beat Lithuania 3-1 two days ago. The other game in our group was also 3-1 in favour of Israel.
Plenty of these groups have already been completed. The two most noteworthy single results to me were Slovakia beating Germany 1-0 and Andorra drawing 1-1 with Montenegro. However, Germany and Montenegro both still won their groups, the latter over Poland and Austria! Slovakia could only draw 1-1 with Moldova and were beaten 1-0 by Latvia.
Perhaps the most surprising group result was Wales winning Croatia's group, while Sweden finished bottom of it, below Albania.

England and Israel should qualify for the Elite round. Then it will start to become interesting.

Our meeting will occur on MD3, we have an advantage as you play before us on MD2, so we'll know what we need to gain the advantage for our meeting.
Yesterday Israel and Lithuania drew 1-1 and England beat Georgia 6-2. A draw will win the group but England will want the win for seeding.
England and Israel drew 1-1.
