Stryger Larsen is a smart transfer for Trabzonspor.

Emre Mor, LOL. The guy is a fraud.

And my condolences to Galatasaray fans for Seferovic. Every Benfica fan comment on social media is celebrating they finally got rid of him.

Hi,
Why 19 teams played in the Turkish Super league? Why not 18 or 20 teams played?
Thanks!

There was no relegation after 19/20 season due to corona. It was 21-team-league in 20/21. For this reason, Turkish league is being played with odd number of clubs. Now they're trying to arrange 18-team-league again with 4 relegations this season etc.

Since the 21 team league in 20/21 they are reducing the teams but only by 1 each season until 18 is reached next year

Yes, on paper.

Most transfers are from England - Weghorst (Burnley), Masuaku (West Ham), Saïss (Wolves), Cenk Tosun and Dele Alli (Everton)

With Gedson Fernandes, N'Koudou (ex- Tottenham) and Ghezzal (ex- Leceister), Besiktas definitely do not lack players with Premier League experience :grin1:

We had an encouraging start of the season, but let's wait and see how it goes in a few weeks.
Right now, Besiktas' main weakness seem to be the lack of quality in defense.

Nathan Redmond to Besiktas:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/62838059

Quite a few English players moving out to European clubs this season. I haven't seen this guy play in years, so I don't know if it's changed, but he's always been a player I've liked when I've seen him in England youth teams, or in Europe or some other match I've seen him in. He only has one England cap, but racked up a massive 77 England U caps! Anyway, in my experience he's one of those players you can rely on to always turn up and cause problems for the opposition. He's 28 so should be still in his prime rather than some ageing player. If he's still the guy I remember, you're getting a very good player.

I hope so - thanks for the feedback as he is not well-known outside of England. :smile1:
He is our 9th player with Premier League experience. :grin1:
