Well, if you look at the clubs Romanian footballers play, it's easy to see why this result is a massive upset!

The goalie could be blamed for the 1st 2 goals, but overall Ukraine are pathetic.

I only saw the 2nd one. With the Madrid shirt, I bet that it would've been a world class save.

This can be a 9-3-3-3 group.

After some comical mistakes in defense he kicked the ball to the opponent who obliged and found the net.

Ukraine should at least try to score something in the last 10 minutes, with a loss to Romania and a -3 GD at the start, they will be in big trouble.

Romania just needs not to get destroyed by Belgium and they're through.

Romania have surprised here but well deserving of their lead. Some nice "foot like a traction engine" goals too.

Romania played well tactically, they were disciplined and are rewarded with a 3-goal margin win at the end.

Well. Netherlands and Romania really proving how little friendlies matter. Netherlands had perhaps the best two friendlies and they draw with Poland, Romania had perhaps the worst, home 0-0s vs Bulgaria and Liechtenstein. And they win here 3-0. I had to miss the second half, but with it being a BBC game, I can go back and look at the goals on the Iplayer now.

Belgium vs Slovakia will show if Slovakia has what it takes to go through this group!
