They have shown absolutely nothing in European results though.
is this a problem for you because you mention it so often? Didn't you say the same for LASK couple yrs ago and Salzburg before? Sturm was financially in no good shape and they are recovering and they do it well even in sports performance recently. All good things take a while!
Clubmate, are you on drugs again?? :grin1:

Kostas Manolas will continue his career in the United Arab Emirates, thus he effectively retired from competitive football.

Vinícius Júnior is still just 22 years old and he already has about 150 apps for Real Madrid and 16 for Brazil! He has now renewed his contract until 2027! Even then, he will still be 27 years old!

The case of Jean Kevin Augustin is over. CAS ruled Leeds have to honor the agreement made in 2020 before the pandemic and pay 21 million EUR to Red Bull Leipzig.

Cristiano Ronaldo to Al Nassr (Saudi Arabia)!? I would really like to see the details of his contract!

Apparently he has rejected this offer. It was rumoured to be around 200 million per year.

I think the Ronaldo situation is interesting. He wants to keep playing at the highest level, in the Champions League, basically because he wants to keep his CL top scorer record. Honestly though, I can't see why any CL challenging team would want to add such a player to their squad. It would mean paying a guy who is about to turn 38, an astronomical amount of money, and risking him and his massive ego messing up morale in your squad. I really don't think any European team in the CL would want to do it.

200 million what, saudi riyals, which is around 50 million euros?

If Ronaldo really wants to play the UEFA Champions League at any cost he can join a team like Celtic for 1 million euros per year and he'll get another 6 UCL matches where he may score a few more goals.

I doubt that's what he wants. He prefers the "200 million mysterious currency per year" offer, even if that's from Al Nassr... that doesn't even play in the AFC Champions League!

And that's a legitimate choice.

Between a 1 million euros per year offer from a UEFA CL club or a 50 million euros per year offer from Al Nassr, everyone would accept the Al Nassr offer (if that offer really exists).
Records and Statistics:
 Champions League (all 141 participants - 1992/1993 to 2019/2020)
 Europa League (all 215 participants - 2009/2010 to 2019/2020)
 UEFA Youth League (all 162 participants - 2013/2014 to 2019/2020)

200 million euros, and yes, I think Ronaldo would reject such an offer if it was real, because he has more than enough money. I think his ego focuses on being the best player ever, more than it does on being the richest ever. That's why he wants to remain the top scorer in the CL, and win the World Cup.

i bet it Dynamo Kyiv and Dnipro-1 are pretty in huge trouble because Shakhtar will ended up dominance the Ukrainian League in next years to come
