Re: Portuguese Football Season 2017/18
And we are under way, interesting start. Thought that Benfica and Porto were pretty decent in their first matches. Sporting struggled a bit more maybe and also William Carvalho seems to be on his way out to West Ham. Wonder why he can't get a better club than that.

Re: Portuguese Football Season 2017/18
You really think Porto has the strongest squad? Interesting, actually had the idea that Porto has the worst squad out of the top 3. Some players did come back from loan where they did good, but there didn't so great before there loan spells at Porto so I am not sure what to think of it really. Benfi...

Re: Champions League 2017-2018 play-off round
Would be great to see Hoffenheim beat Liverpool, although I think Klopp will know how to handle these matches. Well Basaksehir is better to be in EL anyway. They can get effective in EL not in CL and with a tough draw as Sevilla they are just heading to this path which in my opinion best for Turkey ...

Re: Europa League 2017-2018 play-off round
Osijek-Austria Wien 65 - 35 I wrote a post on reddit to PSV fan about Osijek when he asked about them not long ago. I said that they are a solid team and if they have gotten a mid-tier European team they could have been in the 4. round. And what happened? Osijek won both games against PSV and how t...

Re: Transfer Topic
That video with Pepe, Quaresma and Negredo . Loved it. I still don't get why Turkish clubs always seem to prefer 'old' players to youngster talents. If they have a 19-year old player who is very talented they seem to be like ... nah, we'll buy this 33-year old guy instead who once played a...

Re: Champions League 2017-2018 play-off round
When looking at the current UEFA Country Ranking 2018 (little to no matches played obviously). Why have some countries at the start already a higher total points than others? Spain: 1.928 Germany: 1.857 England: 2.571 Italy: 1.666 France: 1.916 Where are these starting numbers based upon? And why d...

Re: Transfer Topic
Yes, Everton have agreed the fee, but United still need to come to terms with Lukaku, and if I was Lukaku I'd be wanting some serious assurances from the guy that told me I wasn't good enough and gave me the boot just three years ago at Chelsea. And United have been a shambles since Ferguson left. ...

Re: Confederations Cup 2017 Russia
A bit "luck" in the final, but the other wins were fully deserved and nice to watch. Not comparable to our A team of course (or the A teams of Argentina, Brasil, Spain etc), but for Confed Cup standards it was still attractive. No it wasn't attractive by any means, unless you think that c...

Re: Confederations Cup 2017 Russia
Pathetic display from Germany. This was nothing more then an extremely lucky win. Little bit sad also that they felt the need to play almost the whole tournament with five defenders. Next time send please send your best players, really works wonders for the likeability and of course also the style ...
