TV money distribution
I'm interested in the distribution of TV money in the various european football leagues, especially beside the big leagues. Last week the Austrian Bundesliga concluded a new distribution system for the TV contract from 2018/19 onwards. - 30% base amount - 30% points scored - 20% attendance at stadiu...

There will be half points carried over in Austria.

Re: Belgian Football Season 2016-2017
The 7th team got home-advantage? Funny it is better to be 7 then 5th then. Yes, the 7th team got home adventage. In theory it is better to become 7th than 5th, but only in theory. Firstly, you still have to beat two better teams to qualify for Europe, which is quite unlikely, and second you lose a ...

Re: Belgian Football Season 2016-2017
In Austria we will have a similar system beginning with 2018/19. - 12 teams - 22 rounds, then split into two groups of 6 teams - points divided - 10 rounds - the first two teams are qualified for europe - the seventh (top of the bottom group) plays one home match against the fourth. the winner of th...

While Rapid Wien is playing since summer in the new Allianz Stadion (capacity 28,000), the stadium of Austria Wien is currently under construction and will be reopened in 2018. The Generali Arena then will offer 17,500 seats: http://presse.fk-austria.at/Content/49384/e5a6493c-343f-4f67-9724-56f6c323...

Re: 15 Place Battle
I'm very happy that Dinamo's late and very lucky equalizer against Salzburg had no consequences in the end. I rate the austrian league better than the croatian, so in my opinion this ranking reflects the real strenght.
Let's hope we stay in front of Romania and Denmark.

Re: CL Group H: Juventus - Sevilla - Lyon - Dinamo Zagreb
This season Dinamo was just unbelieveable lucky to draw Salzburg in CLQ4. As everybody knows Salzburg suffers under a CL curse and so they dominated Dinamo and should have won both matches, but a deflected shot in 89th minute took Dinamo to extra time where they finished the job. If the matches had ...

It will be the same procedure as every year: in autumn Malko has a big mouth and in spring, when the french teams are out, he suddenly disappears. Quite funny .

For me it looks like they do not know yet how the spots will be distributed - that's the reason why there is no new access list published.

Re: CL reform for the 2018-2021 cycle
How will that historic ranking work? If there is a bonus for past merits UEFA should not forget about teams like Steaua, Red Star or Stade Reims... Remebers me a little bit on Formula 1 where the prize money is divided based on various factors. Ferrari for instance gets a huge bonus because they com...

Re: French Football 2016/17
It's quite simple, nobody in Austria cares about french football. I guess there had been a few more spectators if Ibrahimovic would still be at PSG, but in general there is no interest in Ligue 1. If there had been the german super cup at Klagenfurt, the stadium would have been sold out within hours...

Re: 15 Place Battle
I was really glad that Rapid avoided Istanbul Basaksehir as they were in the same group for the ELQ3 draw. If they knock out Rijeka there will be a very unlucky team in the playoff to draw them. Same goes for Rostov why I would not be unhappy if they manage to knock out Anderlecht in CLQ3. All the o...
