Re: 2022 U17 Women's Euro - Bosnia and Herzegovina
Germany won again after a penalty shoot-out. Actually their last six titles in this tournament were all won after POs, which is crazy.

Path A: Everyone loves the draw.
Path B: As average as it gets.
Path C: Everyone hates the draw.

Re: 2023 Women's World Cup
Ghana beat Nigeria 1-0 at home in a game with a red card for both sides. Not enough for the Ghana side who loses 2-1 on aggregate, so the World Cup hopes of the 4th ranked side in Africa is already over. Top ranked Nigeria with another difficult match in round 2 against Ivory Coast, who smashed Nig...

Re: Euro 2020
Looked really offside and Morata did his best effort to be offside, but somehow he ended up being onside.

Re: 2022 WC Qatar
UEFA probably wants the best teams at the world cup, in order to not give FIFA any more reason to cut berths for European teams.

Re: UEFA New Access List
The basic thing for a competition to be fair is that they all countries have the same ratio of direct seats in GS and teams in qualifying. One direct place-2 teams in qualifications, 2 direct places-4 teams in qualifications, 3 direct places-6 teams in qualifications. Increasingly, teams with poor ...

Re: Lyon, Saint Petersbourg and Leipzig
Yes, it would be the direct results from the matches between the three teams. So in this case if all three ended with 10 points, then we would have the following situation: Lyon 7 points Leipzig 6 points Zenit 4 points from the H2H. So there is no need to check for goals scored, or H2H between two t...

Re: CLGS matchday 5
I just checked the current prize money allocation and am glad to see the market pool got so much smaller. This was always the most unfair part of the whole money distribution.

Re: Euro 2020
So, it's not what is happening right now, right? It is, from each league the top teams are fighting each other for the last places. In other words, it's not what is happening right now, right? Maybe there is just some misunderstanding here. We have the top teams from league D fighting for...

Re: Euro 2020
Imo the Nations League is a good idea for extra competitive matches, but then the top teams from each League should play against each other to determine which four teams will get the remaining Euro 2020 places. Exactly that is happening right now, isn't it? Anyways the change is really not that big...

Re: Euro 2020
Was I the only one who saw some sort of graphic showing that the Path D winner would go to Group A (which surprised me)? Unfortunately I was only watching the draw with one eye and UEFA hasn't confirmed anything about this part of the draw online yet (or a video replay). Well, they confirmed before...
