Re: 2023/2024 Conference League Knockout Round PO
The match being played on Wednesday instead of Thursday is far from being the strangest thing that happened here, actually matches played on different slots is great. Yesterday Gent only changed 2 players from its starting XI compared to the first leg, and one of these changes was mandatory since De...

Re: 2023/2024 Europa League Knockout Round PO
Braga's humiliation at home to Qarabag. Why do you call it a humiliation? The heaviest defeats in Braga's EL history are 0-4 vs Shakhtar in 2016, 0-4 vs Leicester in 2020 and 0-3 vs Marseille in 2018, all away. At home it's the fifth time that they lose by two goals difference, the others were 0-2 ...

Re: 2023/2024 Europa League Knockout Round PO
Braga are practically out in my opinion. I don't believe they will be able to win it AET or PSO, not to mention to win by a 3-goal margin after normal time. Much better teams than Braga experienced very hard time in Baku vs Qarabag and I don't think Braga will end up there with any win. More likely...

Re: 2023-24 Champions League: Round of 16
Regarding Nagelsmann and Tuchel. I am not saying you were responding specifically to me but personally I never tried to make Nagelsmann to be some kind of amazing coach. I am just stating that he did not deserve to be sacked. Everything was going fine in the 22/23 season. In the CL it was going bet...

Re: 2023/2024 Conference League Knockout Round PO
Thanks @Polak
Here I only agree with you about Frankfurt and Ludogorets.
The majority of teams dropping from EL groups to Conference League KO stages didn't last more than one round over the last two seasons (10/16).

Re: 2023-24 Champions League: Round of 16
I find these claims of "dirty Real Madrid" vs Leipzig and "perfect #KingJoffreyNagelskidd better than Tuchel" amusing. The dirtiest thing I saw in Leipzig vs Real Madrid was Leipzig trying to take advantage of Brahim Díaz injury to score from a quick counter-attack instead of kic...

Re: 2023 Asian Cup - Qatar
Never said they did, I was testing the limits of your assertions. But the keeper did wipe out one of theirs for the third goal, so that would have been an empty net goal if not fouled. They did win fair and square. They won three penalties and scored them. https://media.gettyimages.com/id/200196819...

Re: 2023/2024 Europa League Knockout Round PO
@Polak , in your CL predictions I agree with all 8 teams advancing, but here I disagree with Lens, Young Boys and Galatasaray.

Re: 2023 Asian Cup - Qatar
There's nothing shameful about winning a match via three legit penalties, all of which were won by Qataris being fouled in the box rather than lucky handballs btw, scoring three penalties in a FINAL is something to be proud of. There's plenty of shame in conceding three penalties in one game though...

Congratulations Qatar!
Shameful way to win a match though, 3-1 with three penalty kicks.
Qavar won today, now let's see who will win tomorrow, Nivaria or Côte d'Ivar...
