Michele, There has been a big discussion here over how van Basten is selecting his players. a year ago he started with a lot of young new players trying once, twice. Because he was a youth trainer at Ajax, he knew some of them well (Babel, Maduro) and added them too. AZ was doing wel in Europe, so t...

Great work Lyonnais, though I feel a bit sad about the 48% of Dinamo in F. Ofcourse a win in Marseill is possible Heerenveen should have done it. Could have don it even. But they lost in the 90th minute. :( Well, All they have to think of now is winning and making at least 2 goals (very hard if you ...

And what are the points the teams collected for the team-coefficent ranking? (2 for a win, 1 for a draw, CL:3 bonus). Between brackets the number of matches still to play Basel 6(2) Werder 6(1) Steaua 9(1) Rosenborg 6(1) Monaco 8(1) Betis 8(1) So besides a lot of money there is just a slight advanta...

PSV is not the PSV anymore from last year. losing twice 3-0 is not a good sign. But well, Hiddink is still there sow there is stilll a chance. After not making the last 16 8 times in a row, now doing it twice would be already great. The line between favorites and great clubs is not easy to draw. Bay...

Well, Lyonnais, we can look at our predictions made last year how many percentage had it right nad wronf for each round. Ofcourse there is a part lottery, I remember all too well the other semi-final, where PSV dominated Milan over threee-quarters of the game, but went out anyway due to.......luck? ...

I still think that the Holland-Czech match was the most beatiful match in Euro2004 (unfortunately with the wrong outcome, ofcourse). The chance that Holland and Czech will be in the same group are small, if you take into account that neither team will be in the seeded group (counting on rules like i...

Differences: PSV did not loose to them. They are stilll not qualified for next round CL They are 5 points away from top of their league. In general, I don't think they are that impressive like last year. Maybe I am prejudiced by seeing both PSV- Milan matches, but I read/hear that they have more mat...

I'm not sure if it will be good for Russia to make it this year already to the 8th spot. It would mean 2 more teasm in UefaCup. It would be better to take the 'Portugal' approach: First with 4 teams having won 2 finals and only then enter with 6 teams. If they will not get 8th this year, Russia will...

Bert, Do you get any money out of these advertisement, depending on if we click on it? Otherwise I don't mind every now and then clicking on it. Until now I have just been ignoring it. These two fora(?) is kind of complicated, checking one, then checking the other. The messages are also getting larg...
