Matchday 12: Levski : Beroe 3:0 Loko (Sf) : Botev 3:1 Solid wins for the top two teams at home. Vihren:CSKA 0:2 A nice win for CSKA in a very good match to watch. This was an open match with chances for both sides. CSKA started brightly but missed their chances early on. Vihren took control after 25...

What a disappointing evening for Levski. The match was completely even until the 33rd minute , with two or three half-chances for either side. Then out of nowhere the disaster struck.First our young 19-years-old goalkeeper (making his debut in the CL) lost his footing after a regular back pass to re...

Bulgarian season 2006-07

I'll follow the example of Lyonnais and Panda and start a thread about Bulgarian championship. I'm a Levski fan and I'm a bit biased , so any contribution from fans of the other teams will be more than welcomed to give a broader perspective. Matchday 10: Levski : Botev 3:0 A routine win for Levski ,...

I watched the O's match yesterday , and if OM are the second-best team in France than the League will be very much an one-horse race. This is not a good news for the neutral fans. At least the battle for 3 and 4 looks interesing for now :) . This is the second OL match I've matched this season (the ...

In Bulgaria CSKA put three stars two years ago after they won their 30th championship. I guess they did it just to tease Levski and their fans :) , as there have never been such a tradition here.
They hadn't had two stars until then , but went directly for three :)

Verder : Levski 2:0. It was an entertaining game , with possitive play by both teams. Verder scored a lucky goal right at the end of the first half , which made their life easier. Anyway a deserved victory , as they looked the better side for the majority of the game. Unlike the first two matches th...

This is my all-time favourite http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjp97VJGx-c Marco van Basten's equalizer against Real Madrid , ECC 1/2 final , 1988/89 season 1st leg. A pure class. And this is my favourite Levski's goal. The last minute Nikolay Todorov's winner versus Rangers , 1993/94 ECC 1/16 final ,...

From Levski point of view , another bad loss. Although I didn't have a lot of hopes after the draw , we're a leading team in Bulgaria and we're not used to losses like this. Now the games versus Werder are considered our only chance to get something out of this group. It was very harsh to get a grou...
