Can Zilina confirm a horrible year for Serbia? (Sorry but I've already written off Red Star despite their great comeback in the last round - Slavia are surely a different proposition to Tbilisi). I personally wouldn't call it horrible. If you look some previous years regarding coefficients, Serbia ...

All this talk about Croatia is nonsense. Croatia is currently worse than Serbia, and it's reality. There is no way Croatia can climb better than 18th place - Norway, in near future, not in any scenario. That's maximum, and it's very, very optimistic. Serbia should be among countries we would jump o...

About Zilina penalty. What so funny about it? Yeah on good replays there wasn't a penalty, but from referees point I'd be pretty sure there was. When Žilinas player sow ball going to the out,he fall down, nobody even tuch him.He should get a jelow card for acting, but unjustice won again. I watch the...

Lets not hijack the thread, I disagree a move to Lech is a sted down after being at Metalist. A worse league yes, worse pay, yeah, but at least it means he is not only in it for the money. I would not say Metalist is a far better team than Lech though and that it is a step down, I guess we would ne...

For the time being Serbia is higher in Country Rankings than Croatia, by itself.... Yes,because Croatia was teriblle in 2005/06 and 2006/07,but in last few years we are better. 2007/08 2008/09 2009/10 CRO 3.666 4.333 1.750 SER 2.625 3.000 1.375 SLO 0.666 1.333 1.375 This year deference between Croa...

But countries like Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia has their U-19 NT in the biggest competitions, so I guess there is still a lot of talented young players in their leagues. In the last decade Serbia had (once as Serbia and Montenegro) two apperances in U-19 final tournament (including one currently i...

My review of this matchday: Salzburg (AUT) 1-1 Dinamo Zagreb (CRO) Normal result Slovan Bratislava (SVK) 0-2 Olympiacos (GRE) Normal Zurich (SUI) 2-3 Maribor (SVN) Not that surprising. I believe this is part of Zahovic's work. APOEL (CYP) 2-0 Partizan (SRB) I expected a draw or a 1-0 loss for por P...

in Baku it is extremly hot and you have a crowd of 30,000 at the stands. it is also often very hard to play in the former yugoslawien countries, where the people are living for the few europaean matches every year. i think, those different circumstances can also affect surprises. I watched two Dani...

Poor Dinamo Zagreb!  They couldn't even beat Bohemiams and they will qualify over Dinamo? Dinamo is much better and Salzburg has to be afraid not Dinamo. I'm not saying that Salzburg will qualify over Dinamo! What I think is that Dinamo had a better chance against Bohemians than a...
