A team of Manchester United legends captained by Dimitar Berbatov took on a side of Luis Figo's All Stars on Wednesday in a charity match in Bulgaria.
Berbatov's United side featured Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand and Edwin van der Sar.
Also in the side, but not former Old Trafford team-mates, were David James, Robbie Keane, Hristo Stoichkov, Krasimir Balakov, Stiliyan Petrov and Martin Petrov.
Figo, who won the Ballon d'Or in 2000, pulled no punches with his line-up either.
He opted for a team that included Roberto Carlos, Robert Pires, Deco, David Trezeguet, Christian Karembeu, Dwight Yorke, Michel Salgado, Maxwell and Jari Litmanen.
Profits from the match have gone to two children's charities chosen by Berbatov and Figo.
Gary Neville got in on the action alongside Nemanja Vidic while aiming a dig at Rio Ferdinand
Ahead of kick-off, the former United striker said: 'It will be the first time Bulgaria has seen so many huge stars in one place, brought together by the cause of charity.
'Together with them and with you who will come to the stadium, we will contribute to the better tomorrow.'
Keane, who was a team-mate of Berbatov's at Tottenham, added: 'Football is a sport that unites. This is its main goal, this is the main goal of the match in Sofia.
'We, the footballers, are incredibly lucky to be paid for what we love to do. I want to help more children follow their dreams. I'm very happy to be here.'
Martin Jol, who was also in Sofia for the match, said: 'A great occasion to be here in Sofia. When Berbatov told me what stars he had invited for the game, I was very pleasantly surprised. Our relationship with him is perfect.'
